Heading straight for the fast lane is Josh Gigante with „Attention Seeker“. A hypnotic one-note bassline with ritualistic vocals takes you onto a night ride on the highway, until the overdrive kicks in and a sudden chainsaw-sounding lead is giving off sparks.

„Tanzwerk“ by Jepe takes you to a sinister sounding technocratic utopia, where suddenly all the sounds of machine processes align and form a dance floor symphony.

Next on the 21st Four To The Floor is „Folk“ by AIKON, an upbeat affair with slight hints of 80s, New Wave and Acid.

And closing off is „Music is the way“ by Spada feat. Klara Sestiniova, a dreamy end-of-night soundtrack that will definitely provide for a hands-up and eyes-closed moments.

Berlin’s wunderkind KlangKuenstler, best known for his smash hits on Oliver Koletzki’s Stil vor Talent imprint, makes his grandiose debut on Great Stuff with the “Golden” two-tracker.

KlangKuenstler’s “Golden” composition features a thick analog sounding groove, that is supported by a cosy but constantly driving bassline. Golden’s breakdowns are filled with dark mooog-ish sounding patterns, that add a fine dash of deepness. The effects were discreetly kept in the background, but still do a tremendous job providing extra energy.

The “Calypso” track on the b-side takes us directly onto a summer-festival dancefloor. It’s uplifting marimba melody injects pure summer-vibes into our veins. The lower frequencies, especially the kick and bass symbioses supply warmth and sleek stamina.

KlangKuenstler - Golden

Spanhol continues his artistic evolution with his latest melodic techno release “Mentality”, marking his debut on NOWN Music. The three tracks showcase his signature blend of deep grooves and mystical atmospheres, combining hypnotic rhythms with emotional, melodic layers. Mentality captures Spanhol’s unique approach to storytelling through sound — introspective, driving, and timeless.

‘Camargue’ gets a fresh treatment on Drumcode, as a handful of techno’s finest give new life to an R&S classic.
Coming from the studio of CJ Bolland and Portuguese journeyman The Advent, the track was born out of a golden age of Belgium dance music and first released in 1992.

Enrico Sangiuliano delivers a trademark cosmic rework underlined by tribal bass stabs and twisted synth lines to accompany the famous riff. It’s an outstanding remake that’s already a big summer favourite for the Drumcode crew.

Greek wizard @echonomist arrives on @tautautauofficial with the ‘Modern Wonder’ EP, featuring three original cuts and a remix from @ditian. Echonomist hasbeen deep in the game for a long while and it’s safe to say he is Greece’s top DJ and producer of our times. He is an all-rounder who can DJ, produce and perform live with confidence and panache. After his exciting contribution to Dixon’s Transmoderna release alongside tracks by Ame, Trikk and others, ‘Modern Wonder’ sees Echonomist‘s debut with the TAU family.
Opening with ‘Eyes, the EP gets off to a dramatic start as moody synth lines and a driving bassline take us into the new wave zone. Echonomistdemonstrates his flair for arrangement here, with a carefully arranged track that could almost have been performed by a band. The atmosphere is gloomy and emotive, taking us for a ride into the night as flickering neon reflects off the rain covered streets in a sleazy part of town.
The title track is next, raising the energy levels somewhat with punchy beats and a searing atmosphere. Female singer Iokatsi delivers a brief vocal over the breakdown before the track continues with its melancholy yet heartfelt narrative.
‘The Touch’ follows, taking us further into realms of synth heaven. The main riff is gnarly, with electro-fied beats and a simple yet catchy rhythm. Echonomist adds a perfectly placed synth way up high to complement the low end, creating uplifting moments that juxtapose the gruff bassline.
Finally Ditian’s ‘Snake’ remix of ‘Modern Wonder’ closes the EP. This a deep, dubby rework with heavy emphasis on the bass to begin with. Ditian takes the main vocal and chops it into pieces, using “You’re trapped” to increase the tense, chilling atmosphere. Detuned piano keys add to themacabre feeling as Ditian rolls out a nasty, haunting rework.

Italy’s AGENTS OF TIME have long been on the KOMPAKT radar. It started thanks to their exemplary releases on Correspondant and other labels such as Stem, Ellum plus last year’s collaboration with Mathew Jonson (from whom their name is inspired by). Michael Mayer had chance to play with them last summer at one of their Obscura parties and their friendship was cemented. Which leads us now to their five track KOMPAKT debut, entitled MUSIC MADE PARADISE.

From our early days of releasing landmark tracks from JUSTUS KÖHNCKE, the label has never been shy of exploring the enigmatic fringes of disco in our own way. AGENTS OF TIME follow these footsteps but head into galactic territory with MUSIC MADE PARADISE. They continue their knack for bridging synth-wave with modern bass rhythms in a means which are purely designed for today’s dance floors. We’re proud to make their label debut with an incredible selection of music from this talented trio.

French touch meets Italo chic on Drive Me Crazy. At first, My Heart is A Microchip comes across as a segue track, but opens into cascading synths and a predatory breakbeat to lead its own charge. Under Control is classy Moroder disco brought to the modern age. Aptly titled Interstate 10 is an EP highlight – the percussion lead is infectious and ready for prime time exploration.
