Following on from his remix of our release of Nigel Dawson's unreleased track 'Walk with Me' where he accompanied Jaap Ligthart and Tim French on remix duties, Nila has delivered an ep for multiple floors. And yes we can now start mentioning dancefloors again!!!!!
Nila has had a multitude of releases on some outstanding labels including Selador, Pro B Tech, Soundteller,, Pangea recordings and symmetric records to name a few, with his production's skills keeping him busy throughout. alias_j makes his debut on Pig&Dan’s ELEVATE imprint with a blistering three-track flurry of Melodic House & Techno delights - Changes.

Promising a plethora of creative individuality from cover to cover, alias_j’s ‘Changes’ EP is a myriad of melodic prowess that showcases the depths of his productive capability as an artist. From sturdy 4/4 segments that are built for fired-up dancefloors to cinematic atmospherics and ethereal soundscapes, this collection of three unique tracks is an undeniable statement piece - bold, potentand fitting for an impactive debut.

Opening the release, ‘Dominion Rising’ presents in the form of an intergalactic voyage - lightly dusted with a bohemian tinge. Driving drums and shuffled percs meet a balance of subtle and boisterous melodic layers throughout. 

‘Moving Again’ follows, cutting a more rigid techno blueprint.
