Solid as brick
or fragile as paper?
Just a property I lease
in the open field of consciousness

House of cards up for sale
Diamonds, Hearts, Spades, Clubs

I did not see
for I am thought
and have no eyes with which to see
only thoughts of eyes that see
and what they see
is only thought

I know that which I see
but I see that which I think
and of what I may think
is of everything and of nothing

There are no limits here
yet I am bound by how I think
a fence line to a house of cards
structured relationships of thought
imposed by rules and forces unknown

Thus, I trade reality for realty
I build a house of cards, my world
dealt to me, I know not how
I think, play the cards, make the world
according to the rules
therefore, I see according to the rules
but the rules remain unseen

I wish to see my card house fall
to experience reality not realty

beyond the fence line
disencumbered by the rules of the game
which seem all too limiting

Dreams, I think
