Recorded live at the first Mindfares event held at the wonderful Samsara tea house, @dannilov's pristine selections play like the soundtrack for a sub-aquatic voyage, searching for long-ago sunken worlds.

Ep. 2 - Dannilov

Recorded live at our last gathering, @Bryozone's set transported those of us who were lucky enough to bear witness, to a strange primordial world where the forces of nature are on full display. Thick, billowing clouds of steam obscuring barely discernible landmarks, giving the impression of an endless, ever-shifting landscape. Strange, bioluminescent organisms clinging to piercing obsidian rocks, their glowing tendrils weaving patterns of light in the mist-filled air. It’s a wondrous place of stark contrasts but one that feels eerily like home.

Ep. 3 - Bryozone [Live]

@atmanncontrolroom's excursion plays out like the soundtrack for a grimy, rain-soaked film noir. It’s a haunting vision of a bleak but beautiful world, its nuanced darkness only ocasionally interrupted by garish neon signs and the odd bout of hopeful cry  — a world where the future happened, and it left greasy stains on everything.

Ep. 4 - Atmann

Up next on the Mindfares broadcast is Semi (@neuemedicina), a young artist from the heart of Ukraine, the city of Kropyvnytskyi. His love for music and the scarcity of it in his home town drove him to create his own, by himself or with the help of his friends, playing in bands or running parties in abandoned warehouses. He’s moved to Germany since then but is strongly tied to his native community, working on projects that showcase the beauty of Ukrainian music.

A few words from Semi describing his offering for our series:

“A predilection for strange sounds but at the same time quite melodic came to me naturally, perhaps because of my love for black metal and unconventional music in general. My style can be associated with a slightly maritime and romantic mood, as I have been living by the sea for the past few years which has greatly influenced the mood of my music.  In this mix you can hear tracks by my comrades that match this mood. These include songs by Pavel Milyakov, also known as @buttechno (Odessian Deep), and Triš (Blue Ash). I also want to acknowledge and express respect for the tracks by Hennadii Boichenko and @gannabryzhata aka Bryozone, who often serve as my inspiration to explore intriguing sounds.“
