He looked down, said, “Damn, lil’ man, freeze”
Reached in the stash, pulled a dub, tossed that
Said, “Don’t tell nobody, I got a rep to protect, cat”
Shorty bounced, smile big, tears in the rearview
Plug lit a blunt, said, “Shit, that’s my good deed due”
But karma don’t wait, she spin like a DJ
Caught him later that night in a wild freeway
Swerved off the lane, blew a tire, skrrt!
Hit the curb — boom! Face hit the dirt
Out the alley came dude with a beard like roots
Smellin' like piss, rockin’ two left boots
Saw the plug laid out, dizzy and leakin’
Said, “Shit, you good?” with a voice all tweakin’
Plug woke up, blood runnin’ down his lip
“No ID, no phone, I’m losin’ my grip”
Homeless man flagged down a cab like a pimp
Told the driver, “Help this man, fuck the tip”
Plug got patched, stitched up, heart full
Thought back, “Damn, I gave that kid fuel…”
Days later, he circled the block with meals
Found the same dude slumped by the back of a wheel
Said, “Yo, take this cash, and this coat too
You saved my black ass, that’s not somethin’ I do”
Dude took the bills like a ghost seein’ light
Then dipped toward the precinct, limp in the night
Next morning, at the desk, lookin’ sexy in blue
Badge on her chest, but she still thick too
Boots laced tight, ass sittin’ on wow
But eyes said she ain’t playin’ with clowns
Homeless man walked in like “I found somethin' foul”
Dropped off a burner with a clip and a towel
She squinted hard, said, “Where the fuck you get this?”
He said, “Don’t trip, I don’t want no business”
She checked the print — matched a cold case
Cleared a young brother’s name with no face
Kid had been locked for a murder he ain’t do
Now free off a tip that came straight out the blue
She felt that, deep down, broke her stance
Said, “Fuck this badge if it don’t give 'em chance”
Took off early, hit the diner near Lex
Saw a waitress strugglin’, juggled two checks
Boss yellin’ loud, tryin’ flex his chest
She slipped her a stack, said “Yo, fuck the rest”
Waitress cried, held that paper like gold
Bought diapers, rent, and a heater for cold
And when asked why, she just shrugged her gun
Said, “Some broke dude saved a life on the run”
Yo, it’s domino karma, wild-ass chain
From a street dealer’s dub to freedom regained
From a piss-soaked vet to a fine cop’s flex
To a single mom smilin’ with zero regrets
Ain’t always holy — sometimes it’s grime
But good gon’ loop if you give it time
So next time you up, throw the vibe to the street
