precious moments

Moments are all we have, all we are...collecions of abstractions
we are existing as travellers on a road of fragements
some stay with us for our entire existance, 
some fade away 
and some are gone as soon as, if not before, they come to pass.

for all they are, they are what make us 
our experiences, our hopes, our dreams, our loves..and losses
some moments are hard to live through, 
some leave their scars
and some truly give us meaning...

even if they don't last as we hoped, 
these lessons should not be lost
live, love, cry, sing and scream
for these are what make us alive...
...even if they leave us feeling like we are dying inside.

with hope, 
with faith, 
with empathy,
with perseverance...
we can always find new fragments, new paths to tread...even if they seem to be places we have been, they are always new...so long as we embrace them for what they are...

...precious moments

...chances to learn
...the seconds ticking on the clock of life...
...not to be mourned, but celebrated.

never deny them or turn away...
...but hold them close to your heart...
...always...

Smile and nod, dont let it out
keep the lid tightly on
pandoras box was never meant to see the light of day
dont let the rage built up out
nor the pain and sorrow
collected and fermented
it wouldnt be fair to deal it out to those around
those whos hearts are shared
even if that is what they seem to do with theirs
two wrongs and "compares" never shows how much one cares
it only shows a reaction that can not always be ignored or taken in stride for it may hit the latch on the box we hide
releasing the darkness within
yet, once in a lifetime...we may be fortunate to meet
a safe place, a warm seat
in the cold, dark vaccum of space
a light a breath a heat
a place we can actually be nurtured to open and face the contents
no longer having to hide
never being denied...a voice
...a choice

yet even still, tread with care, never hide whats there but always know the swords quivers next to the word

the word defines...still...in the end, it is the heart that shines

Beware the words that sound like care
the words that say to 'accept whats there'
for they are as bad as those that say 'to not accept'
the words that say 'you can do better'
'you dont need that shit'
'stand up to it'
for they are both 'truth' and 'lie'
the difference between is a narrow glimmer, 
a shade of perfect blue
the 'why' ...the 'when'...the 'who'...
...not taken into account...
are but reasons few, to separate the sides

beware the sickly sweet, saccarin words 
of forked tongue
of evil breath
for they taste so nutrasweet 
they have minimal doubt to those who never tasted them
and to those who know, 
have experienced them 'in' or 'out'
thy slide right in
as if they never were without
calcifying the pineal gland of the soul
building up the walls
through which its harder and harder to connect
to even give mutual respect...
...to see the self as one truly is

the bullshit sentiments that lack logic (of the soul)
infectious as they are
stay well far (in mind AND soul) 

yet never cut the self off from one who truly cares
one who will never hurt and will be there
despite their own pain, fears and despair

these battles, 
these words 
to be aware
are burdens that we all must share.

its been a while
if it ever truly came
that i felt i was free to face
the monsters i locked away inside
the fears and doubts i pushed aside
the burdens that i was bestowed
yet this broken heart was mended well
pumped back up and raised from hell
snatched back out of the herse
heart break over, the broken curse
that i felt always hung over me
now, its plain to see

with one, for once, allowed to see
my self as i truly am and be
im told that i am beautiful
despite my scarrs that triped me up in times now far
now distant past
yet the strength i felt, that i built myself
is something to be proud of
for it never hardened my heart
it never made me succumb or become numb
nd no, tht would be letting them win
verifying their choices to inflict
...opening a door through which i can be kicked

so i accept the repair, i embrace my despair
it transmutes into a light that shines so bright
yet i cannot completely say is my own
but one thats shared in every sense in all these words
with a mate for the soul that is innate
predestined and prepared
tempered and trained,
to accept and live; bound by red,

moving forward, never strained

Tear themselves apart
right from the start
to be given a heart
but choosing to depart
so much pain inflicted, felt
so much misery and sorrows deep

so much so, the land of sleep
was unreachable by any means beyond exaustion
which is what is complimentary to trying hard
continually
to fall upon deaf ears and apathy

having no explanations yet feeling nothing back 
where there supposedly was unending love
the worries of the vultures circling
of those who always licked their lips
managed to get their claws in
to steal away those lips (i now despise)

yet if they did they are welcom to
one from who nothing is real
welcomed to steal
a life of misery to which i shed a tear
for they will never become
the beauty they never see

and keep running away 
to places nowhere near
to superficial fragility
that lacks substance or reality
a place of spite and rage and twist
regret and mourning of chances missed

He was born, he never asked for it yet it happened. (like it or not ;) )

Still. he looked at the world with love and wonder, as he always would. Sheltered and controlled to an excess, he didn't realise how that wasn't the tendency of most. He did, however, begin to question why the images on screens rarely reflected his own...later he would realise they rarely reflected anyone's.

Eventually, it came to a point he wanted to have some sense of this "normalcy" everyone acted and claimed to have.

He broke out and rebelled against his captors...one who seemed to give him nothing but examples of rage, apathy, disconnection and how not to be and another who gave him their all to the point of excess. Shaping his mind in ways it would take him years and a lot of love and patience to unravel.

They say nothing happens without a reason, and after many scars, mistakes, burns and bleeds...he may have found his reason.

Another who, as he, was not in the "mainstream" of being. not subscribing to the desperate need for acceptance and verification of succumbing to the grey faced way of life everyone aspired to die and become. No... It was one who seemed to tread the same road in so many ways yet also complimentary in different ways.

A vibration that almost perfectly matched, yet in some curves of the wave equally bent in opposite directions...perhaps perfectly...after all

...a true soulmate to hold up a mirror to each other so growth can happen, however long it takes, however hard it may be...always patient and faithful in every way. the rock to fill the hole they felt for so very long. The most perfect match yet..one never even imagined to be possible. the good being heavenly and the hope more powerful than ever even dreamed...

...and ...

...as is the nature of the universe, put into words by newton in his third law, the bad times can feel equally hopeless and weakening.

Yet holding on to the feelings, to the hope, to the heavenly...letting it fill you completely...is the only way.

....despite the walls to break through, the scars reopened to heal the broken bones, reset properly...instead f being left to be. the pains necessary to become the best we can be.

...never forgetting the love that fills, that is shared, that is true.

this is his realisation...the very reason for the past. the verification and the display of the miraculous love that exists in his chosen perception...the only way to make things make sense and assuming things not to, is to let go of reason. of point. of hope.

the sun now shines...literally...as if a cloud has lifted to let the light break through. (literally as these words are formed)

as it continues to brighten and strengthen, once more verifying as a symbol and sign, in validation of his heart and his will to chose a better way. to hold on to the love, light and power that is inside.

never to let go or cut the red string they were bound with so very, very long ago...and will be forever more.

the love that is felt was dealt and embraced...for it is a true love, not one of fantasy, but reality, of spirit and soul. of reflection and nurturing. of truth and honesty and everything one needs. no codependence, no white lies, nothing untrue. just love and chipping away the corrosion that formed, the barnacles on the ship...to shine again, anew.
