This is the 4th song in the last 2 months. I'm trying to get into a habit of dropping 1 new song every 1-2 weeks. Hopefully the next one will come even sooner. I'm focusing primarily on Quantity over Quality at the present moment. I want to stay true to my strengths. Compared to the vast amount of talent online, It's fair to say my talents isn't as pronounced in producing as it is in songwriting. I have 50 plus songs/hooks that have been waiting around in old FL Studio Projects or on the memo folder on my phone. One of the Main reasons I haven't gotten to most of them is because I have a bad habit of obsessing over one song thinking "this one is it so I gotta make it perfect." That gets old really quick, especially when you've dropped as many "non-hits" as I have. So, Get comfortable and get used to it. No Shrinking back. New songs on the regular.

My Heart

I listened to this on my phone and COULD NOT STAND the mix. Went back and EQ'd. Noticed a very large difference when using a variety of headphones and then comparing them with songs I like. Still got a way to go but I can definitely Say this is one of my favorite mixes yet. I did a little tweaking on the reverb as well, I think that's pretty obvious. Delay is actually panned slightly left. Also used the Slate FGX 2 Master plugin and didn't (for the first time in a while) drop the exported mix right into Emastered's online tool Tell me if you can notice the difference!

Pulled this 1 out of the cellar! Thanks Cedro for mixing this a couple of years ago. Still dropping a song every 2 weeks! Just sold the house too so that dream of doing this full time is happening!

Lucky #7 -Atlanta Version

Update: Not going anywhere. Hannah and I close on our new house next month and my last house (the flip project) was finally sold! Pending an economic collapse (fingers crossed), I now have income to support this for close to 2 years. I've showed a lot of dedication these past couple years but at best I've really only dabbled with this art. This past year I was even more dedicated then the year prior and now that the fixer upper has sold, I can actually fund this and do it full time. Now I'm in it. No shrinking back. Keep Moving Forward.

Support Local Artists

This is the first recording with the new studio DIY project! After over 200 hours of work I finally have the project completed! I'm hoping to post a video at some point. I'm extremely pleased with the results I've gotten thus far. Wrote this song 2 days ago and was really eager to post something because It's been a while. I can confidently say, this new studio build is gonna be huge for me and make a world of difference. Can't wait to get back into a solid mixing routine. Keep Moving Forward!
