Tel-Aviv based rock band Mindset nails the 90's rock
sound accurately, with energetic, melody driven
songs. The result combines everything we loved
about that era with modern day inuences. With a
debut album ready for release in 2020 - they are now
bringing the single and music video “Drown” everywhere
Don't you miss that 90's vibe of authentic artistic expression that rock
music used to have? These four guys from Israel sure do, and millions of
others around the world as well. Raised in the decade of annel shirts
and MTV, Mindset reach deep into their grunge roots and come up with
energetic, melody driven songs with strong emphasis on meaningful lyrics.
Mindset was formed in 2018, when lead singer Or Berger and guitarist
Ofek Azaria, who were already making music together, were joined by
bass player Uriel Ben-Ezra and drummer Meitar Elazary. They shared
similar inuences of old-school rock bands and a similar vision for
sound, and managed to nail that 90's feel accurately.
It shouldn't come as a surprise then, that their debut album was
recorded DIY, in a shared apartment studio (since garages aren't a thing
in Israel). Produced & recorded by Nir Perelman, the songs were then sent

for mastering at Tim Turan's studios in the UK.

Approaching album release in 2020, their rst single "Drown" is out now.
The song embodies the DNA of the group, dealing with issues such as
self-acceptance, loneliness and self-awareness. The song came out with

a music video, starring the lead singer and band.

We love Rock. Real heartfelt songwriting, big sing-along choruses, and good ol' distortion. Shaped by our passion for the genre and longing for new music to listen to, our debut album is all about energetic, melody driven songwriting, with a big emphasis on meaningful lyrics and killer riffs.
Growing up as 90’s kids, we miss the authentic feel rock music had to it – a time where it seemed music was more of a form of art and expression rather than a popularity contest.
The name we chose, “Mindset” represents our agenda ; Almost all the songs in this album talk about subjects such as self acceptance, mentalism, dealing with loneliness, and trying to pave your own way in life.
