Paco Osuna's Mindshake record label presents a special release featuring two techy remixes of Basement Jaxx's 1997 classic 'Fly Life'.

First of the remixes is by Project00, which is the collaborative alias of Paco Osuna and Fer BR. Second of the new versions is a solo rework by Paco Osuna.

One of Spain's most iconic electronic music artists, Paco Osuna is one of the country's most accomplished DJs and respected producers. Having travelled the world to play headline sets at festivals and clubs, he has also released music on labels ranging from Richie Hawtin's Minus to John Digweed's Bedrock.

Fer BR is a fellow Spaniard, who is well known as a solo producer who boasts releases on a broad cross section of labels including techy tracks on Adam Beyer's Truesoul and house focused cuts on Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird.

Project00 is a shared alias used for when Paco Osuna and Fer BR collaborate, and it's usually focused towards techno tracks with driving energy and jackin' grooves.

The release opens with the dark atmosphere and hypnotic groove of the Project00 remix, which blends immersive hypnotics with fast-flowing percussion. Paco Osuna's solo remix takes a deeper approach to deliver a tech house version that's perfect for the dance floor.

Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake welcomes a new groovy house EP from Iglesias.

Iglesias returns to Mindshake after recently dropping a remix of a track by DJ Oliver and Paco Osuna, this time the Spanish artist returns with two original tracks.

Known for his chunky basslines and flowing percussion, Iglesias has an accomplished back catalogue that includes tracks and remixes on labels such as Moon Harbour, Hottrax, Kaluki Musik, Elrow Music and Toolroom.

He is also an accomplished DJ who regularly plays at places like Amnesia in Ibiza plus numerous other prestigious venues around the world.

“Dance To My Drums” opens the release with its hip hop inspired vocals, acid-tinged bassline and techy percussion that creates a rolling groove full of uplifting energy. “Doobee Dub” is a stripped back cut with a muffled vocal sample and jackin' energy.

Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake welcomes a groove-heavy house music release by Iglesias and Latmun.

Latmun and Iglesias have previously collaborated on the likes of Jamie Jones' Hottrax and Sola, but each is also a successful solo artist.

Iglesias is a Spanish artist returning to Mindshake after the success of his recent 'Dance To My Drums' EP. He has also featured his stripped-back and percussive style on other imprints including Moon Harbour, Toolroom and Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars.

Making his debut on Mindshake, Latmun joins the imprint following high-profile releases on Hot Creations, Kaluki Musik, Relief and Steve Lawler's VIVa MUSiC. Based in the UK, he is also a popular DJ who regularly plays at events ranging from Manchester's Warehouse Project to Ibiza's DC-10.
'Duffman' is an '80s inspired track that samples a classic and fuses it with techy percussion and an infectious bassline.'In The Mood' has a sub-heavy bassline and dark atmosphere layered with flowing percussion and a funky vocal sample with hip hop undertones.

Chicks Luv Us are a French duo from Marseille, and they have become internationally known for their upbeat style that is heavily influence by hip hop from the '80s and '90s, as well as minimal techno from the '00s.  

They have played shows at world famous nightclubs ranging from Pacha in Ibiza to London's Ministry of Sound. When it comes to production, they have made waves with top-selling releases on record labels such as Loco Dice's Desolat and Jamie Jones' Hot Creations.  

This is Chicks Luv Us debut on Mindshake, and it comes after Paco Osuna has spent many years hammering their tracks in his DJ sets.

Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake welcomes the return of Iglesias who delivers a stripped-back tech house EP made in collaboration with Joshwa. Alongside their two original tracks, there is also a bass-heavy remix by Paco Osuna.

This is the first time that Iglesias and Joshwa have collaborated together, and the sixth time that Iglesias has featured original material on Mindshake.

Iglesias is a Spanish artist who has previously collaborated with Paco Osuna. He is a Mindshake regular, who has also released his upbeat sound on other respectable imprints.

Paco Osuna is one of Spain's most iconic electronic music artists, he has an eclectic sound covering the full range of house and techno. His career spans more than two decades, and he continues to be at the forefront of the global electronic music scene. Alongside his headline DJ sets all over the world, he has also contributed tracks and remixes to highly influential record labels.

Paco Osuna's remix of "Mind Your Business" adds a thickset, funky bassline to the original's rolling groove.

This young Spanish producer is characterised by his unique musical intuition and his pursuit of new sounds, textures and structures; over the past few years his releases on Hot Creations, Desolat, Saved, Moon Harbour and Circus have established his reputation as one of the hottest producers around. As expected, this new delivery carries all the hallmarks of a Cuartero release: passionate, groovy and thrilling techno. Wavy Distance EP features two original cuts and also includes two impressive remixes by Paco Osuna and Fer BR.

‘Wavy Distance’ is full of clashing beats, a consistent and hermetic track which escalates in intensity while adding choppy lo-fi vocals. Without a doubt its spectacular and unexpected 80s drum beat takes you to the very top and as its name suggests, it is a wavy bass journey between bright snares and deep drums. 

Paco Osuna’s ‘Wavy Distance’ remix travels to the limits of interpretation, keeping the “wavy” bass but with a deep techno essence. The glow in the remix comes from the galactic echo vocals amid a sway of elements, making this version a fluent and steamy take on Cuartero’s original, combined with sharp drums taking you to the roots of deep bass.

‘Talking Drum’, is a genuine tech-house piece with a dark tribal scent, dressed with his world-famous vocal sequences, transporting the listener directly to the dance floor. Fer BR interprets this track as a dry bass theme with shiny snares and sporadic deep vocals mixed with surround sounds, a remix that takes you to the most hidden parts of the original track.
