MindTrip is pleased to introduce Part 2 of its new various artists series ‘From The Lab to The Club’. For this EP, 4 artists – both established and emerging - were selected to contribute music which embodies the spirit of the series. 
This release opens in the strongest possible way, with 2 of techno’s heaviest hitters, Chris Liebing and Pfirter joining forces to produce the driving, heavy and hypnotic ‘420’. Notably, this track signals a welcome return to production for Chris Liebing and shows his ability to create strong, dancefloor techno has 
not diminished. Next up is the highly talented Japanese producer Yuuki Sakai (Subsist, Warm Up Records) with ‘Ballat’, a relentless, percussive track enhanced by subtle, textured elements. 
There is no letup on the B side, which opens with the mysterious Obscure Shape’s ‘Back in Black’. This track promises to yield an intense and building atmosphere, which almost – but not quite – threatens to kill all those who dare to defy its menacing sounds. This strong release is completed with a contribution from UK producer Dax J entitled ‘Revelations’. Make no mistake, this is an intense, compelling track, which builds with a strength which is not for the faint hearted.

The past few years, I dedicated myself to producing Electronica, even if I always was and still am a techno-rooted artist. But since I began having gigs again, my desire to produce techno resurfaced. I am currently working on new demos, and I would like, until I finish them, to show you the sound direction I am heading. These are just snippets and draft ideas, not finished tracks. After years of production, I developed a few techniques that represent my signature sound, though the production journey never stops. I am always gonna evolve. See u on the dancefloor.

Duellist (@duellistuk) presents his third studio album, Purge Reflex, marking his debut release on X-IMG; a caustic downward spiral of abrasive yet meticulously crafted industrialized electronica. The release includes two frenetic and punishing remixes by Axkan and Kenny Campbell. The track KillChain is available now, with the full album dropping on Friday, 1 August.

The Scottish producer is following on from a recent split 12” release with Omen Records founder Axkan, titled Chronicles of Conflict.

Reinvented and relaunched in 2012 under the new name MindTrip.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
