Fabrizio Lapiana is a well-known fixture on the contemporary Italian techno scene. His musical career started in his hometown Rome where he began collecting vinyl and DJ’ing in the early 90’s. After being mainly active on the local scene, Fabrizio in 2008 started producing and founded his own imprint, the well renowned Attic Music. The label quickly expanded from hosting just Fabrizio’s work into also releasing other artists fitting his personal definition of techno. To date Fabrizio has over two handfuls of releases, Attic Music serves as home to some of these, but also other respected labels such as ARTS, Figure Jams and M_Rec Ltd to mention a few. His productions are often dark and hypnotic, yet at times they have brighter melodious elements, with each of these components smoothly entering as the tracks unfold. However playing records to a live audience is still his favourite element. Fabrizio has honed and perfected his deejaying skills for over two decades, therefore being famous for his immaculate mixing technique. To create the setting he prefers, his sets travel from deeper to harder techno, darker pieces are introduced to more melodic ones and acid or old school gems get updated with new unheard material – these are some of the key ingredients for Fabrizio while creating an intimate journey for the listener. 

Lapiana’s latest achievement as a composer is his debut album “Intraverso” released in February 2018. With this collection of nine songs the artist departs from his previously dancefloor-focused work into something new and far more personal than where he has ever been before. The album shows slower, down-tempo, ambient influenced and more thoughtful compositions, unraveling light, darkness, happiness and sadness. “Intraverso” reveals an artist shedding another layer of himself, showing a softer more vulnerable side to the world.

From the first wave of spanish DJs emerged Bernardo Hangar, one of the first genuinely underground techno artist at a time when Spain was literally in the “medieval ages” in what electronic music is concerned.

He ends up subjugating his style and making him one of the most avant-garde and risky artists in southern Europe. It was normal, at that time, to see him in the most important festivals in Spain.
After a long period of reflection and hard production work, he decided to create his own label Dark Forest, where he looks for new sound landscapes committed to the darker side of nature, launching its first EP “Starting Point” in September 2016.

De la primera ola de DJs españoles surgió Bernardo Hangar, uno de los primeros artistas techno genuinamente underground en una época en la que España se encontraba literalmente en la “ época medieval” en lo que a música electrónica se refiere. Termina subyugando su estilo y convirtiéndolo en uno de los artistas más vanguardistas y arriesgados del sur de Europa. Era normal, en ese momento, verle en los festivales más importantes de España. 

Después de un largo período de reflexión y duro trabajo de producción, decide crear su propio sello Dark Forest, donde busca nuevos paisajes sonoros comprometidos con el lado más oscuro de la naturaleza, lanzando su primer EP “Starting Point” en septiembre de 2016.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
