This time our guest is the well known @archypness. His release "Ricoloctite" was very well received in the scene and is still popular today.  Today we present the set he sent us before the release of the said EP. It's worth going back to earlier sets sometimes. 

Archypness is a music producer, dj, teacher of Fundament DJ school in Warsaw and art creator.

Archypness music is a deep experience of spiritual aspects through mystical rhythms. The archaic atmosphere is intertwined with hypnotic sound effects. His sets are performances of dynamic meditation leading to the unknown depths of consciousness.

Trip#19: Archypness

For our 78th installment we invited Sofus Forsberg, a veteran producer who lives for the atmospheric industrial sound in deep hypnotic techno. The Danish producer played legendary sessions at Freqs of Nature in Germany, MoDem in Croatia and Boom festival in Portugal. This DJ set was recorded at FEUM in Denmark.

"Rotormesser (Serge Geyzel Remix)" is the second single release from the Ebertbrothers' upcoming album "Polymer Boulevard Remixes", on which all tracks from the previous record "Polymer Boulevard" have been reworked by other selected artists.

We asked Serge Geyzel to remix a track from the Polymer Boulevard album, as we've appreciated his taste in IDM and electro for quite some time.

Serge chose "Rotormesser", a bass-heavy, almost danceable number, and turned it into a hard-hitting electro banger that had us nodding our heads in approval.

The Ebertbrothers - Polymer Boulevard Remixes

As The Ebertbrothers' previous releases and their Mindcast DJ mixes show, the two brothers are fascinated by a wide variety of musical genres.
So the idea of having all the tracks from their current album "Polymer Boulevard" remixed by selected artists, each at home in a different genre, was an obvious one. However, all of them are united in their love for music, far away from the mainstream.

The result is a wide range of tracks, from electro bangers to slow-motion dystopian soundscapes, from dubstep to experimental breaks and every niche in between, even industrial rock.
An album that couldn't be more eclectic, but represents both the Ebertbrothers and the individual remix artists - each track different, yet belonging together as in a concept album.

Last but not least, we would like to thank all participating remixers who used their artistic freedom to impress us with their creative output. We deeply admire and appreciate their work and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.

Between April and July 2024, Goran and Attila crafted an album that resonates with deep melancholy, love and drama. Written and produced without the aid of computers, this work relies solely on one sampler and synths, blending timeless analog warmth and granulated ambience with contemporary sensibilities. The album is a rich tapestry of emotive soundscapes, where spiced-up vocal samples are reimagined in a new musical environment, creating a unique sonic experience that feels both intimate and broad.

Goat Grab are Attila Ábrahám and Goran Grubišić, electronic duo from Subotica, Serbia. Both of them were involved in the local music scene for three decades, either with DJing, producing or playing in underground bands.
But for the first time they are creating their dreamy soundscape, that is both chilling, suspense and breezy with heart wrenching poetry and spoken words.

Laima Adelaide - Opening set Tresor Berlin (new faces), 04.09.2024

Here is the recording of my opening set for new faces at Tresor Berlin.
In this format I only played my own productions and a few remixes. Also it was a challenge to create a storyline with a fixed set of tracks. 
I started to release this sound in 2020 and it has given me a lot of joy to work on music (and also some pain now and then), meet people from the scene and travel to places to perform.

Laima Adelaide - Opening Set New Faces @Tresor Berlin, 4.9.24

This week we welcome the founder of Submersive Records, Bevel.
He has been active on the Deep-Techno scene since 2013 through his label, productions and dj sets.
Inspired by the hypnotic beauty of the underwater depths, his music evokes dark, captivating landscapes where organic sonorities, raw textures and rave-cut rhythms invite us to tip over into a timeless space.
 Like a gradual plunge into the abyss, his productions and sets invite us to let go, to slowly pull away from the surface and sink into a space where silence amplifies sounds, gestures slow down and bodies soften.
The dancefloor then becomes an immersive place of physical experience of sound, where moments of tension and fragility follow one another in the service of emotions conducive to introspection.
It's a vision of Techno that he's been defending for over 10 years through his label's various releases and podcasts, and his appearances and residencies at the Batofar, Social Club, La Machine du Moulin Rouge, DV1, Glazart, HÖR, etc.

Henrii provides us a winding traverse through her selections perfectly blended in syncronisation she offered her own comments on the trip. 

"For this mix, I was inspired by the beautiful autumn season here in Norway, where the days are getting darker each day, and outside, it's either foggy or sunny with cold, crisp air. The mix has a slow and long entrance through the ambient landscape and goes into waves of faster hypnotic rhythms, representing a journey of a little ritual or something. I hope you enjoy listening to it."
