This guy is no stranger to the underground world of dance music, 
having previously released on labels such as Desolat and Noir. 
Den Ishu appeared in collaboration with Superlounge a few months 
back on Supernature with the excellent ‘Get Back’ EP. 
This time he presents us with a real cut above the rest and a break 
from his previous trademark sounds. 

"High U Gonna Feel" is the Jewel in the crown here. Slow in pace but 
very chunky in nature, Den works the vocal sample and strings in a 
way that makes this track instantly recognisable. 
"Your Experience" is no less engaging, and thanks to his cleverly 
programmed bassline it becomes an absolute winner. 
Finally, "Say The Word" proves that Den is no one trick pony, he can 
shuffle around the tempos and melodies very easily. 
Avatism (Dumb Unit, Souvenir) provides a very different interpretation 
of "High U Gonna Feel" which will surely please those who like it deep. 
We are very excited about this EP and having tested it extensively on the 
road over the last few weeks we are finally ready to present it to you.

I had dinner with Breach in London and he told me "Hey, I have a track that is really dirtybird. I would put it out but its really sounding right for you guys." I took this with a grain of salt but then I heard "Let's Get Hot" and I found out he was right. It's got the swagger and the sound. It makes girls grind their asses into boys crotches on the dancefloor. Perfect. Signed. 

So I then asked him to make something even more sexual, thinking it would be ages before I got something back. 10 days later the A-side came back to me as a 2 minute clip while i was on the train to warehouse project in Manchester. I liked it so much that i edited it on the train to stretch it out to 5 minute. As expected, it slayed the room and the final version Breach has delivered is one of the best records of the year in my opinion. With the simple title of "Jack" you can see for yourself when you play it. This is the real deal.

We normally wouldn't do things like this but too many people have asked for a download. We're turning a blind eye to our own judgement on cheesy-mashups. So here is one of the bootlegs we made for the 90s mix. We've pulled it out of the project for your enjoyment.

This encapsulates 1999 for us. Cassius - Feeling For You was one of the first records we ever bought. The fact that it had a Les Rythmes Digitales Remix makes it even better. We weren't to know at 12 years old that this song would still be just as playable 14 years later,  and how much of an impact both Cassius and Stuart Price would have on our music tastes while learning to DJ. And what more needs to be said about Outkast? One of the greatest hip-hop acts to ever exist. They were the soundtrack to every house party since the beginning of high school. Big Boi and Andre 3000 in the same studio. How could that go wrong?

Hector was one of Resident Advisor’s top 100 charted producers in 2011 and was nominated for DJ awards in Deejay and Vicious Mag.

Been travelling around North America the last few months and have finally been able to sit still and write something... Actually I started writing 4 songs in the last 2 days and another 1 a month or so ago on a late night bus leaving Austin for San Antonio. Setting up a studio on a bus isn't practical. Currently just working with my laptop, a rubbish interface and some average headphones in an apartment in Toronto. This track is rough but wanted to get the ball rolling, I have every intention of writing a lot of music once I get settled. Much love.
