HINCA IS OF PERUVIAN ORIGIN. HE WAS BORN IN LIMA TO A PERUVIAN MOTHER AND A EUROPEAN FATHER. HE WILL DO ALL HIS STUDIES IN FRENCH HIGH SCHOOLS IN THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE GLOBE. HE WILL FINISH HIS STUDIES IN BELGIUM AS A DESIGNER. IN THE MEANTIME SINCE HIS CHILDHOOD HE WILL BE RAISED BY A FAMILY OF SINGERS AND MUSICIANS. HIS INSTRUMENT IS THE ORGAN. HE WILL DO PARTIAL STUDIES IN MUSIC AND VERY QUICKLY HE WILL ABANDON THE ORGAN FOR THE SYNTHESIZER. WE ARE THEN IN THE 80S WHEN ELECTRONIC
MUSIC BECOMES POPULAR, WHERE SYNTHESIZERS BECOME ACCESSIBLE. HE RECEIVED HIS FIRST SYNTHESIZER IN 1987 ... A D- 50 WHICH WILL ALLOW HIM TO WORK WITH SYNTHETIC MUSIC. HE SIGNED SEVERAL TITLES UNDER UNDERGROUND LABELS BUT IT WAS IN 1999 THAT HE RELEASED HIS FIRST COMMERCIAL TITLE UNDER THE NAME OF DJ WILLIAM. HE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REMIX A LOT OF FAMOUS ARTISTS AND DJS LIKE GLORIA GAYNOR, ANITA WARD, PAUL JOHNSON, DAVID MORALES, VIKTOR LAZLO, ETC. UNDER THE NAME OF OWEN REPLAY
OR NAS-K. HE WILL BECOME THE PRODUCER OF ALL THESE SONGS HIMSELF. THIS NEW TURN IN HIS CAREER ALLOWS HIM TO SHOW A MORE FUNKY AND MATURE SIDE OF HIS MUSIC WITH A 11 TRACKS ALBUM. ALL THESE SONGS REFLECT A VERY 80'S SOUND WITH VOCODERS, ANALOG SYNTHESIZERS AND SAMPLERS. IN ADDITION, HINCA TELLS THE STORY OF HIS CHARACTER. HE WOULD BE THE LAST OF THE INCAS OF PERU. HIS
STORY EXPLAINS THE DISAPPEARANCE OF THE INCAS, THE HIEROGLYPHS FOUND ON THE SITE OF NAZCA. AN INTERGALACTIC STORY THAT BEGINS IN THE CONSTELLATION ANDROMEDA. WHICH EXPLAINS HIS COSTUME AND HIS HELMET. IN THIS STORY HE WILL MEET TWO OTHER CHARACTERS WHO WILL JOIN HIM IN THIS ALBUM: CASSIOPEA (SINGER) AND JAHI SHENU (RAPPER).

The word can be read up and down and it is mirror-like compared to the vertical symmetry axis. The evocative sense of the word “Miniatures” referring to the past and that one of the record label referring to the present agree in a sign based on the symmetry, balance and synthesis principles that take suggestion by Taonism philosophy... according to which the universe exists in a dynamic condition of equilibrium that flows back and runs with the interaction of the opposites. The two halves aren’t in opposition but in a mutual relationship. “Miniatures” signs its own pieces with a label characterized by a contemporary sign but that refers to an ancient and qualified way to do from which are derived authentic masterpieces of precision and care. Music for fans, lovers of a piece impervious to the logics of mass-production.
The colour proposed for the mark is red in the positive version, white on red in that negative one. The reason derives from the etymology of the word “miniature” that is from the latin “minium”, a particular red colour, and it indicates an image realized to decorate ancient manuscripts. Employed in this operation were the “rubricatores”, qualified scribes that added at the end of the papers of the manuscripts supplementary parts in red to emphasize some sections. Also the word “rubricatio” derives from the latin “rubricare” and it means to colour in red. Later on, since the fourteenth century the spreading of small size illustrations had changed the meaning of “miniature” and it had indicated paintings, objects and forms of small size realized with great care.
The final sign contains also anthropomorphic abilities that put it even more within the marks adapted to the activities that contain perceptive and sensorial experiences like that musical one.
