Barcelona’s John Talabot has been one of the biggest revelations of dance music in recent times. He has risen up from being a complete unknown to one of the most promising and in demand acts to arrive on the international club circuit. We’ve been big supports of his since his first 12” landed on Permanent Vacation back in 2009 and we're extremely happy to have this very special mix as the latest addition to our humble series. Oriol has always been quite an elusive character so we've decided to leave out the interview and let the music do the talking here. Enjoy!

"When I was asked to do a podcast for the Good Fruit series I was pleased to get an opportunity to share some sounds that captured my ear over the last couple of years. Sharing music with other people was a regular thing for me in the past but has become rather rare these days, and I recently felt the urge to reconnect on that level. As I see music as a celebration of life, this sound journey represents exactly that. Whether it's joyful rhythms or sorrowful melodies, they all have one thing in common: they make me feel alive. You'll hear sounds from the four corners of the earth, both grounding and uplifting. Tribal, rootsy, profound and raw.
