Sven Väth entdeckte den Vorgänger dieser Veröffentlichung
letzten Jahres für seine Aferhours und so erschien das
Stück „Reflektion“ auf seiner vorangegangen achtzehnten
Cocoon Ibiza Mix CD. Die nun erscheinende Nachfolge - E.P.
„Midi to Space“ dockt zweifellos samt seiner tiefen
Soundsphären an jenen Vorgänger an. Die A Seite drückt
hierbei mit roughen Beat und sommerlicher Klangsynthese
eindeutig in Richtung Sommer und erinnert an
Produktionen vergangener schöner Zeit irgend etwas
zwischen DJ Sneak und E-Dancer. Auf der B-Seite hingegen
schlägt der für Paul Brcic typische „Funk im Techno“

...und wieder ist ein Monat rum. Der Sommer neigt sich dem Ende, aber der August war wieder sehr erlebnisreich. Vor allem das letzte Wochenende = Kepotopia Zeit!! Mein musikalisches Tagebuch ist diesmal geprägt vom Sound dieses Wochenendes. Ich selbst durfte am Mittwoch das Opening Set auf dem Birkhain Floor spielen, ein paar Tracks sind im Mix mit drin. Tolles Erlebnis, tolles Wochenende und noch dazu durfte ich einige tolle Menschen kennenlernen. :) Am Schluss des Sets noch einer meiner absoluten Lieblings-trancetitel ever! R.I.P.  B-Zet.

This set came unexpected. I had noticed that a dancefloor at the festival opened at 10 PM, so I went to the crew and asked if I could play from 9 to 10. They agreed and I improvised a set. 

I had expected to just play a few tracks for my friends, but it didn't take long until the floor was full of people cheering through the smoke dancing their socks off. It was beautiful.

MINILEX Sound ist individuell und doch klar definiert. Seine Sets strotzen vor schwungvollen Techno-Grooves und sind mit einem charaktervollen Knistern veredelt, das nur analoge Tonträger hervorbringen können.
2008 machte MINILEX als Resident im Erfurter CLUB CENTRUM erstmals auf sich aufmerksam. Gemeinsam mit Sven U.K. bildet er das DJ-Team RUND.RUM und ihr neustes Projekt OPAL BITES. Seit über 16 Jahren celebriert er regelmäßig seine extravaganten Sounds und ist seit 2009 eine feste Größe im angesagten Münchner PALAIS. 2015 gründen die beiden dann das Label KRIEMHILDS NACHTKUSS und bringen Kollaborationen mit Künstlern wie ZAKARI & BLANGE, ANDOMAT3000 und PAUL BRCIC unter die Leute.
Minilex Einstellung zum Techno wurde in prä-digitalen Zeiten geprägt und so ist Vinyl bis heute seine große Leidenschaft geblieben. Für ihn ist das schwarze Plastik authentisch und stilvoll. Diese edle Grundhaltung trifft inzwischen auch auf digitalen Sound, der seine ideenreichen Sets bereichert. So entstehen einzigartige Sounds mit reichlich technoider Lebensfreude und einem housefidelen Hüftschwung  – eine Mischung, die ihr Ziel nicht verfehlt!
