Coming from a background of drumming in various punk bands, Severin Black under the moniker Nape has for the last few years been forcing rhythms into their most self-deprecating fissures. With four EPs and a 7" out on labels run by the likes of Strahinja Arbutina, Spiderwrap and DJ Valentimes, his next release will be a stripped back modular exercise on Nick Klein's Psychic Liberation imprint later this year.

This hour-long contribution to us is an attempt to represent Severin's simultaneous anxiety and euphoria experienced whilst making it from his living room in Peckham, London. It contains tracks by Loose-y Crunché, Beau Wanzer, Ekaterina Bazhenova-Yamasaki, Isabella, Robert Wyatt and Acidic Male among others, as well as an unreleased Nape track not yet given a home.

11xxx27 aka Erminio Granata is co-founder of the INFIDEL BODIES cassette label, where he released some of his albums: 'Essence', 'No Hope, No Fear' and 'Black Market'. 

His dj set is strongly characterised by a sort of evolutionary process of sound, which starts from the abstraction of ambients and drones and arrives to the concreteness of kicks and hard beats. 
Taking inspiration from the concrete and the abstract, from the impalpable, from what we know exists but we have no idea about. 
The oscillation between the feeling of inner peace and the restless vision of life.

Pülsar - Lord Jalapeños invite Lost in Materials (Septembre 2022)

El proyecto de @ombrafestival nace con el objetivo de crear un lugar de encuentro para los amantes de los sonidos analógicos y de vanguardia a través de un festival que se ha convertido en referente del panorama nacional e internacional, y varios eventos como el que tuvo lugar en Human Club el pasado mes de julio.

Tras el sobrenombre de @internaloperator se encuentra Nacho Romero, un almeriense afincado en Barcelona que se ha hecho hueco en la escena local por méritos propios.

Defensor comprometido del vinilo, con un perfil musical alienado con el electro y los ritmos rotos, no esconde su especial predilección por el universo más sucio y miserable de la costa oeste holandesa, cuna de @bunkerrecordsofficial, @ifmx o @legowelt-official, que nutren suspoderosas e incisivas sesiones. Buena cuenta de ello puede escucharse en sus apariciones en la célebre radio holandesa @operator-radio o el festival @ifmx de La Haya. 

Arriesgado en el fondo y en las formas, su misión está clara: no dejar prisioneros.

Auva Duhr is the more dancefloor minded project by the musician behind
Neugeborene Nachtmusik. As with all of his output it is hard to define
his sound simply as such or such style/genre. But Auva Duhr can possibly
be described best as post-rave with a dark mood. Only recently Auva Duhr
released his 8 track debut album (on Neurom Record). This second release
“Twilight EP” is a bit tougher and darker as the first one.

Expect to hear bits and pieces of elektro, techno, idm and rave music.
Split over different tracks but sometimes also being part of one and the
same tune. These 6 tracks are without any doubt produced for the dance
floor. But there is more to them. This is stuff for body and mind.
Meaning in short that you can trip away on these tunes while on/without
a dance floor.

Maybe this is not for everybody but we are not here to please, or
entertain, everybody. And we are confident these tracks will find their
way to dedicated dj’s, clubs and dance floors.

Second episode of the Veleno Viola podcast series is from Wien-based Gonzo, the man behind "Disco Al Dente", a Soundcloud channel publishing Italo-Disco/Synth-Pop mixes. 

"After Francesco gave me an excellent contribution with his "New Year's Wave Special" for my disco al dente podcast series, I felt responsible to dig deep in my library to construct something special for Veleno Viola. Beside my deep desire for obscure italo disco, there's also a dark & shady side in me, which now has been revealed. Be prepared for a straightforward tin-soldier commando of robotic hammer synths and endless mono action which reflect "Proto" Techno in it's pure form. This dedicated selection was collected in a period of over 15 years and reflects my interpretation of alter ego GONZO, entering foreign territory to spend nasty nights in other spheres!"
