This 6 tracker, comprehensive of the young producer’s versatility and elegance, shows us the depth of a carefully crafted universe. From the undulating half-time meandering of “Cleanse” to the unrelenting, oblique approaches to groove in broken techno of “Focus”, “Burn” and “Give”, all the way into the hyperspeed percussive buzz of “Build”, this EP is a demonstration of the complex sound puzzles within Ilayruni’s music.

This stellar tour de force gets rounded off with Toki Fuko’s reinterpretation of “Cleanse”, taking the name in earnest, it provides us with a welcome craneal massage in sonic form.
