Swamp

Metacognition - an inescapable loop of observing and analyzing.
A processor, obsessed over order, connection, patterns and meaning. Sort of like a machine with the purpose of rewiring itself through self calibration.
It's a natural occurring mind process, inevitable and possibly infinitely complex.
This EP was created with the intention of bringing to light a couple of mind phenomena for easier understanding of the process behind processing visual and aural information and analyzing how you process it.

Inside exploring metacognition, Pareidolia was one of the first visual tricks I encountered, which is why it's the first in this EP.
Next are res cogitans and res extensa, two opposites to the identity. To be in control or flow freely? Materialism or idealism?
Apophenia deals with a different question for me. Is there a purpose to all of this? To sense patterns that aren't there/connected if looked at from a rational perspective, or to trust your feeling and believe there's something else to all of this that cannot be understood by the limited human perception?

Following her mesmerizing live set in our SoundSculptors series, we‘re proud to release the debut EP ‚Inner Landscapes‘ by Innersha, a gifted producer hailing from Armenia.
The EP features her signature organic, trippy aesthetic, starting with ‚Yutori,‘ a deep, tribal track that hypnotizes with its intense, subconscious pull. ‚Konda‘ shifts gears with driving rhythms and playful, intricate layers, while ‚Emeralds‘ explores trance-like influences with a relentless, organic flow. ‚Elysion‘ provides a lighter, more airy sound that remains grounded by its driving bass and rhythm. The final track, ‚Shmana,‘ delivers an intense, energetic finale, with powerful drone swells and percussion that push the track into the grey area. 
This release is a rich exploration of the diverse elements that make up an ‚Inner Landscape.‘

Innersha is an electronic music producer and live performer based in Yerevan, Armenia. 
Her passion for crafting stories and sound palettes became the foundation for developing her signature live sets. 
Inspired by the elements and sounds of nature, her soundscapes are infused with organic percussive textures and hypnotizing grooves.

As the founder of Mirror Zone, Webu masterfully conjures a spectral world where time collapses and frequencies bend, inviting listeners on a mind-expanding journey through sound. His ritualistic compositions transcend conventional boundaries, merging past, present, and future into a singular, fluid moment.
The eight-track EP delves into an abstract landscape of high-intensity frequencies and textural flux. Webu’s sonic manipulations challenge linearity, evoking cyclical movements that oscillate between chaos and order. Each track serves as a kinetic force, pulsating with raw energy and enveloping the listener in immersive sonic architecture. Plying refracted rhythms with an exacting poise, Aerae arrives on Samurai Music with a fully formed sound that plumbs the depths between techno immersion and D&B beat science.

An accomplished, palpable tension runs throughout Nefanda, Aerae’s second solo release. Following up on the meditative pulse of her debut album on Annulled Music last year, the Paris-based artist digs deeper into ominous atmospheres filled with evocative reverb decays and taut, dynamic drum work — tools she wields to render tracks with specific meaning, coded by the Latin framing that runs through all aspects of her musical output. Contemplating the ancient language as an inescapable part of her European roots, on Nefanda Aerae ruminates on external trials and inner impulses, and conjures a jaw-clenching soundtrack to match.
