Following the critically acclaimed Vinyan cassette, Kāthā is Siamese Twins’ second curated pan-Asian compilation selected to form a continuous and coherent whole, whose strong transcendental ambience comes tinged with Eastern psychedelia. Kāthā is the Khmer and Thai name used for chanted sacred mantras and magical incantations that offer protection, charm, or certain influence in life. Its origins stem from "Gāthā", a Sanskrit term referring to any poetic metre commonly used in legends - verses recited (usually mentally) in rhythm with the breath as part of mindfulness practice or meditation.

A hypnotic sound bath in which tribally-rooted ambient morphs into one entity. Drones, live instruments and esoteric textures are transformed into a contemporary Kāthā interpretation.

Lara David [f.k.a. chekov] returns with the launch of her record label, Table Jelly Dishes. The first release is previously unreleased ‘90s machine music from Yorkshire’s Mx.Tactful with the addition of two bonus edits from Lara. 

The record is the outcome of a chance encounter at a coffee shop where Lara spotted a lady wearing an Autechre tee whilst waiting in the queue, stating that “our eyes locked in a way that any cosmic freak knows well and holds close.” What followed was a conversation over coffee where Mx.Tactful mentioned she had written music in the ‘90s, going over these recordings together in Lara’s studio and was the last push she needed to launch the label she had been mulling over. 

All tracks written by Mx.Tactful, with additional production by Screefays (‘Drummitape’) and Lara David.

Jazz pianist Jason Wool gives you over an hour total running time of spontaneous improvisation on Grand Piano, Fender Rhodes, and Hohner Clavinet. Highlighting genres such as Jazz, Fusion, Psych, Brazilian, Experimental and Funk, the intention behind this pack was to create raw, boundary-less takes giving producers full creative control to navigate each sample towards their own unique direction. After his successful debut the spanish producer Nuclear Waste returns for the second release on Impakto Records, the Unusual Systems Records sub label focused on early/mid 90s underground club/warehouse music sounds: techno, trance, acid, bleeps, breaks...

A side contains two dancefloor nuclear weapons. "Nuclear Acid" with cured killer 303 basslines, sonic bleeps and chaotic sampled vocals to rave the world. "Pastillas de Freno" Fat bass and bleeps on this one with craziest spanish sampled vocals, remind us to the Sheffield's bleep techno golden era with an electro touch.
"Living in the junk" opening the B side with 80's drums, an eclectic arpeggiated melody and reverberated bleeps. "Goodbye" close this killer EP with electro to techno drum patterns changes and spacy bleeps.

Forest On Stasys takes the plunge here and launches a new label, Aura Sonora, which debuts with a hugely limited and high-quality new 12" from the boss. The imprint will be "a platform designed for sound experimentation" and the first missive backs that up with a great blend of drum & bass, half-time and techno. 'Magnetismo' is a prickly opener with slippery rhythms underpinned by bold bass. 'Domo' is a darker sound with menacing low ends and prickly percussive patterns while 'Sideral' is another late-night prowler with low sling sounds, eerie atmospheres and a real sense of futurism. THIS IS THE THIRD AND FINAL REVISION OF SPACEGHOSTPURRP'S 2015 EP "Dark Angel Project." I was unhappy with the previous two iterations of this project and while it might have been annoying to have this taken down and reuploaded multiple times by now, this is the, in my opinion, definitive version of this project.
