Durante 30 anos vivi e vivo a musica electronica, percorri o movimento nos anos 90, tempos esses que me despertaram para uma outra dimensão a nível de percepção musical, e do movimento num todo.

Em retrospectiva, constato que, apanhei várias fases, umas melhores outras nem por isso. 
Não deixo, porem, de testemunhar neste momento uma das, talvez, mais degradantes; sem brilho, sem profissionalismo, e com um deficit enorme de meritocracia, onde tudo parece fácil, bastando uma boa imagem, uma boa presença social e um bom agente ávido de produtos para vender, para que o mais importante, a musica, passe a segundo plano.

Esta constatação serviu de mote para o meu último album, de um conjunto de 3 que concebi no ultimo mês de Outubro, e que irão estar disponíveis muito em breve pela Naked Lunch e Onh.cet. Este ultimo album chama-se "DESPARASITANTE", com vários temas nomeados à altura das circunstancias, em jeito de sátira ao circo que, por vezes, sinto que o movimento se tornou, neste negocio frio, sem respeito por nada nem ninguém.

In 2019 in Agrigento, Sicily the Amethyst project was born from Antonio Drago and Salvatore Bertolino, who have been working together for several years.

The Italian duo's second release on circulate—and their first full length album—comes in the form ‘INSIDE OUR WLRD’: 12 tracks that range from inquisitive and ethereal to pulsating, peak-time techno.

In their own words: “INSIDE OUR WRLD was created with the scope of letting people inside our world through emotions or values that emerge listening to our album. Life is hard and sometimes we need to isolate ourselves in our own world… in order to think about how to be stronger.”

With each track associated with a number and letter, one may ask—why the short titles? For Amethysts, in their world only the essence exists and not the excess.

Theo Komp is known for his dark techno productions and sets, but also for his ability to transform and deliver hypnotic minimal techno sets in late morning gatherings.
He is the main man behind Minimal Force Records, a London based label specialized in techno & minimal techno. Over the past few years Theo has managed to perform in venues around the world (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, UK) like: Sisyphos, Egg, Mensch Meier, Cavo Paradiso, Warehouse Club, Pacha, Ministry Of Sound, to mention but a few. Alexander Kowalski opens the EP under his alias "Disx3", with which he distills "Phobos", the sharpest track on the album. A poisoned pattern takes over the theme while saturated percussion turns it into a hurricane.

Joton signs the second song "Flashing Darkness". The Newrhythmic capo gives us a good dose of low frequencies combining power and melancholy with a hypnotic synthesizer that splashes the track cyclically.

On side B we find the synthetic dissonances of "E - Mission" at the hands of Kike Pravda. The figure that draws the melody of this theme induces the listener's mind to a state of physical hypnosis.

To conclude this incredible work comes "Amplitude" by the Portuguese Moddullar. The futuristic atmosphere that is created

Ninth release of the Canadian label Defmain(): signed by the Serbian techno talent Electricity Is Humming.

Emanating from the intercontinental connection of techno music between America and Europe in a globalized style that cherishes nuanced interpretations. It amplifies the cultural synergy between these continents.

Electricity Is Humming reveals with Aradia his vocation for dynamic, dark and full-bodied structure techno. The self-titled opening track uses cycling sequences that are drifting into mantra inducing surroundings. Daunting cymbals and polyrhythm percussion are a constant reminder that everything could change.

The B side track Lilith is characterised by disturbing pads filtered to metallic resonances, the amalgam results in a deep perceptive ambience. The sound is acute and urgent, a combination of almost manic synthwork and menacing progression. Peak time bassline that lays on top of the kick drum that marks time in a reassuring manner.

Artist Quote: "Aradia is my second release as Electricity Is Humming. It is inspired by witchcraft myths and stories. Catalyzing all my energy to create a throbbing beat and hypnotic vibe invoking witchcraft rituals."
