Welcome to a new episode of RFRadio and this one is special: a one-off set when Slam played back to back with Daniel Avery at the last Riverside in 2019. - that was a day to remember!

Daniel Avery is a wonderful artist: whether he’s making beautiful ambient music with Alessandro Cortini or touring the states with Nine Inch Nails and Jesus & Mary Chain, or honouring Andrew Weatherall with the emotive Lone Swordsman tribute. From his debut release the massive "Drone Logic" to the impressive second album "A Song for Alpha”, his exploration of the space in which home listening and club music intersect. To then, the more recent lockdown album "Love & Light" which was a joy to behold...the boy can do no wrong!

Slam have been busy in the studio too and new music will keep dropping, including some really special collaborations which are waiting for dancefloors to re-open. In the meantime you can check their new "Scourge EP" just landed on their Soma and if you missed it, hunt down their live stream on Hate Youtube channel from the Galvanizers in SWG3 : UK Most Wanted Soma v PLS

Alchemy Summer Festival 2021

Jurango at Alchemy Summer Festival 2021

Minimum Syndicat (also known as MS or M-Syndicat) are two musicians from Paris who have been making electronic noise and live performances for decades. They are known for their very unique mix of acid, rave and industrial on the one hand and cinematic, psychedelic, sci-fi landscapes on the other.

They will release their first full length on Killekill on May 10th - what a match for Killekill as a label! 
In preparation for their album they have recorded this mix. Enjoy the trip through their musical universe! 


S.C.H.O.R.L. is Minimum Syndicat's first full length album. Like some kind of bleak space opera it tells its story of lonely subaquatic outposts, Soviet droids and mantis-priests gathering. The core is spaced out electro, but it also has elements of techno, doomcore, breakbeat and industrial, one could say. "At this point subgenres are less important than in the past, it's more like the alternative electronic scene against the industry turning techno into moronic money-driven entertainment.“, they say, and right they are, so let's end this here.

The album features two collaborations with French heavyweights Umwelt and Voiron, the artwork comes from the legendary Belgian artist Elzo Durt, who made some of our strongest artworks in the past and who is a fan of Minimum Syndicat himself.
The 2x12“ is limited to 100 copies, hand numbered and comes with a silk-screen A2 poster with a version of the artwork.

MS will also be releasing a special series of digital releases called "Mutant Signal“ on their own label.

KILLEKILL PODCAST #61: Minimum Syndicat

Charlton's inventive style of producing tracks back then combined techno from “the old days” with his own dark off-beat rhythms. Adding nasty razor-sharp and hypnotizing acid basslines to this creates a truly unique, Charlton sound which had a great impact on the Dutch techno scene.
