Minimal Mystic is a new music label. Our purpose is to collect unique audio recordings from many different cultures and traditions of our world in order to combine special “Various Artists Eps” music collections with separate ethnographic subjects and elements of our sound banks. With the aim to experiment with those recordings we’re striving to create special tracks into Downtempo and Midtempo Organic & Minimalistic electronic waveforms. Let’s travel around our world, our past and our future with Minimal Mystic music magic bus.
In our third music journey we’ve got amazing recordings by Linos Tzelos aka Gazelle. A steadfast composer who worked as an audio director in Nodding Heads Games in India for the video-game “Raji: An ancient epic”. All audio including soundtracks, SFX, dialogues was created, produced and implemented in the game by Gazelle. The music is all organic, using only natural instruments for the production such as sitar, ravanhatha, violin, bass guitar, percussions and vocals. The samples offered to the included artists are extracted from the track “The end”, part of Raji’s OST. Guitar, bass, ravanhatha, baglama were performed by Gazelle himself while vocals are by Andrie Evripidou, percussion by Nikos Varelas, table by Jordan Latskos and backpipes by Sokrates Votskos. For this journey we’ve invited four quality artists of the Downtempo/Organic-House/Electronica scene to get inspiration and use these recordings in order to come out with their own tracks. The end result is purely magic as we travel from Germany to Greece and France with a kaleidoscope of sounds and moods. Acanth, AmuAmu, Anber and Jack Essek are the pilots for this amazing journey into past, present and future by Minimal Mystic Records. Dig deep and you’ll find a world of mysticism, contradictions and pure, crystal clear beautiful sounds!
