Since Anna's huge success with 'Where Are You Now' last october a lot has changed in her live. Coming in hot off their latest Watergate Mix Adana Twins deliver their first EP stemming from the mix itself putting what could be the standout track off the compilation: their remix of Patrice Bäumel’s ‘Roar' front and center. Taking the hugely successful original which could be considered as much a tool as it is a peak time bomb, the duo twist the initial anthem into a climactic, euphoric ride by adding their signature percussion and shimmers of melody while utilizing the original’s spine tingling tension to create an absolutely massive and memorable dance floor experience. 

Flipping to the B-side, Adana Twins present ‘Aufstand der Massen’ where they dive into the ethereal corners of dramatic Techno reminiscent of the ‘Jupiter’ EP from early this year creating a flawlessly executed trip into enchanted territory. Having already been in constant rotation of heavy hitters like Solomun and Tale Of Us is proof enough that Adana Twins have a hit on their hands and now it’s time for you to have it too.

With "VA - Outworld 001", the Berlin-based artist Klangkuenstler sets the tone for his new label 
venture of the same name, delivering a blueprint of techno that is futuristic in feel, yet firmly rooted 
in the analogue aesthetics of its heritage. In consequence, Outworld embodies a timelessness, 
which runs parallel to its mission statement – to take the listener deep into the outer realms and 
beyond.
Klangkuenstler's own stellar contribution, 'Supernova', is central to this essence, both in name and 
sound: the textured, high-velocity drum programming bursts with energy and propels the track 
forward relentlessly, while a transcendental synth dances amidst eerie pads and a squelching acid 
bass-line.
'The Evolution', by Manchester's Rudosa, also reaches for a higher sphere by way of a crystalline, 
ever-morphing lead that stretches towards infinity in its climax. Rumbling underneath, heavily 
pounding drums add balance, while acting equally hypnotic.
Hush & Sleep from Maastricht then conclude the odyssey with 'Nio', a muscular builder, consisting 
of dynamic cyber-strings looped endlessly above a fiercly galloping groove. As washes of white 
noise and hi-hats take off into space, it's evident that the EP ends with a third definition of one 
specific feeling: Outworld.

German DJ and producer ​Boris Brejcha rounds off the month of August with new EP ‘Butterflies’​, out ​30th August​ via ​Ultra Music​.
His third release of the summer, the three-track record sees ​Brejcha’s sonic explorations into the realm of ​‘High-Tech Minimal’ ​reach new heights. EP opener ‘Redemption’ pairs a chunky, driving bassline with a similarly assertive breakdown. ‘Sternengleiter’ ​follows and ​offers the record’s most emotive and hypnotic moments, with title track ​‘Butterflies’ ​closing out the EP which sees him sculpt eight minutes of delicate, fluttering techno. ​"As a butterfly you feel free. Senso Sounds roars back into life with another double from the label’s main man, Oliver Huntemann. Continuing the incredible output on the label this year, Huntemann sets his sights on two opposing poles, north and south. Nordpol transmits an icey atmosphere, razor sharp synths cutting through the mix over a muscular bassline and Huntemann’s trademark precision-hard drums. Südpol starts out as the deeper of the two, but retains a steely backbone - pulsing and driving its way through the speakers, slowly working up into an all out techno-frenzy. Two huge tracks that standout from the masses - as always with the Senso Sounds stable.
