The B side is rather sombre, with a masterpiece that goes by the name Ehering and a dark number called Deine Stiche taten Weh. Continuing the series of coveted remix packages based around her highly acclaimed album Goldener Strom, Rosa Anschütz presents two distinct inversions from Dollkraut and Gudrun Gut. Goldener Strom Remixes 3 is out digitally 21st April via BPitch.
Goldener Strom further consolidated Rosa Anschütz’s position as one of the most crucial artists of the moment. For this ongoing remix series, she invites respected figures from a wide range of genres, expanding the album into uncharted territories.
First up, Dollkraut provides a rework of the third single from the album, ‘Peak’. Fusing the original into something entirely new, the Dutch producer inverts Rosa’s melodies into an electro-inspired dose of broken beats and fuzzy distortion. Having released previously under his DJ Europarking alias on BPitch’s sub label UFO Inc, Dollkraut morphs Rosa’s vocals almost beyond recognition, subverting them into melodic leads that levitate over a gritty percussive framework.

Cititrax is excited to present the third in a series of four song samplers showcasing the talents of some of the most innovative producers of the moment. Cititrax: Tracks Volume Three features the a powerful new collaboration between Amato (aka The Hacker) and Mariana Saldana (ex-Medio Mutante, Boan), the brutal industrial techno of Barcelona based British producer The Sixteen Steps, a Polish mastermind based in Miami known as His Dirty Secrets, and the NYC underground duo Further Reductions (Shawn O’Sullivan and Katie Rose). The overall sound can be described as modern, uncompromising and guttural. Each artist reinvents dance music by bringing their own unique vision to the floor.

We are proud to present two new EPs from De Bons en Pierre, the duo of Beau Wanzer & Maoupa Mazzocchetti. Beau Wanzer spends the majority of his days sifting through paraffin embedded animal tissues and reading old issues of Fangoria, occasionally breaking his monotonous routine to record in various fits and bursts. As well as solo material, he is also in numerous projects including Streetwalker, Mutant Beat Dance, Civil Duty, and Corporate Park. Maoupa Mazzocchetti is the pseudonym of Florent Mazzocchetti, a French producer based in Brussels. His sonic vision is one which constantly straddles the line between wild experimentation and rhythmic compatibility, drawing influence from early concrète, 80's tape scene and Birmingham school techno. 
After working together on the ‘Crepes’ EP that we released in 2017, De Bons en Pierre reunited for a two day recording session in Brussels. The duo recorded 13 tracks that we’ve split across 2 EPs with 6 tracks on ‘EP No. 1’ and 7 tracks on ‘EP No. 2’. Beau says, “We hooked everything up and just pushed play. We didn’t really discuss much about the process….it was very ‘spur of the moment’.” The equipment set up included a Roland TR-808, TR-606, SH-101, CR-78, CR-8000, two Syncussions and effects. Each EP contains 25 minutes of dance floor perversions that tackle an array of rhythmic forms. Sludgy synths, serrated percussion and viscous distortion goops over leviathan rhythms. All songs are mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. ‘EP No. 1’ is housed in a sewage green jacket featuring a monster mask duo and spiky motifs designed by Florent Mazzocchetti, and ‘EP No. 2’ is radioactive orange with a different pair of monster masks.

If heavy industry is a thing of the past, no-one told Identified Patient. For the past few years, he has been a one-man factory: by day, assembling component parts of acid, techno and all varieties of wave (dark, cold, minimal) on the production line; by night, a DJ dynamo pulsing with so much energy he could power a small city. His style is the kind of churning, lithe, fractured machine funk that could make Trent Reznor weep with envy – mean but clean, sinister and stomping but crucially, never overconfident or overblown. After two show-stopping performances at the parent festival last year, Signals In Snakes marks Identified Patient’s first Dekmantel release, for the technoid UFO sub-label.

Opener “The Drip” lives up to its namesake, slowly lowering elements into the field of play with partner in crime Sophie Du Palais. No prizes for guessing what exactly might be dripping through this fetishistic slow burner, so we’ll let your sordid imagination run wild. “Let Me Do It” takes the pent-up anguish and lets rip with the mood of unearthed electrical wires sending sparks flying, an upscaling of intensity that continues on “Chantal Chant.” Envisioned as the moments of tension before a gladiator fight in ancient Greece, the acidysound is that of barely restrained militant chaos. Our battered fighter’s swan-song, “Lucy’s Comeback,” marshals the dark undercurrents of bass and brings us to a close. Giving a new lick of shiny paint to a well-weathered industrial exoskeleton, Signals In Snakes is one to unify the cold-blooded villains and hot-blooded lovers all summer long.
