Today on Meta Moto Premieres we have Sadie La Chèvre and Nora Düster - Extra Bleu Ciel, a minimal synth band based in Biel, Switzerland.
Extra Bleu Ciel is a bipolar borderline hyperactive teenager who likes to eat marshmallows at the cemetery.
Extra Blue Ciel cries with joy contemplating the flight of hysterical crows at sunset.
Extra Blue Ciel loves joyful despair and finds joy hopeless.
Extra Bleu Ciel will always be 15 years old in 1981.

"Hypersensible" is the idiosyncratic trace left by individuals oscillating between nightmare reality and waking dream, sailing between naive euphoria and lucid disillusionment, trying to defy fatality and maintain hope, dancing in the pre-diluvian mud of a dying 21st century.

CRYSTAL - Neo Age

After three records, we’re starting to get a sense of who Das Glow is. Originally a jeweller, Damien Granier turned to music when he discovered the French Touch, Bpitch Control and German minimalism. His introductory salvo, Weiss Gaz, was one of the most unique-sounding electro record to date, and it attracted the most diverse and enlightened following, from Simian Mobile Disco to Boys Noize to Miss Kittin to MSTRKRFT.

After much touring and remixing, Das Glow came back with Sunburnt, a new attempt at building funk machines from tangled drum patterns, dismantled mech parts and faulty systems. When I Want To Wake Up With You appeared on Alan Braxe’s famed Vulture imprint, the dance world discovered that in Das Glow’s avant-garde chest beat a heart capable of turning a Boris Gardiner sample into a gorgeous homage to the original French Touch, complete with emoting filters.

Then came his remix for American synth-wavers The Faint, which went at the track so hard and mighty that it became an Erol Alkan and Boys Noize staple and launched tons of requests for the “Das Glow sound”.
And here comes PHASE IV, an amazing new record which will once again redefine what we know about the man.

A premiere, coming straight from Knekelhuis and Jean-Luc collaboration, including Luc Bersier, Low Bat, Leonard Prochazka and Ariel Garcia. Le Sabbat is a playful and sensual piece from Des litres d'essence EP, featuring vocals of Louis and grabbing your deepest parts of heart. This is a boundless music with attitude, capable of making us drift off and disrupt in equal measure, as well as smoothly leading us to the later hours of the dance floor.
Des litres d'essence will come out on Knekelhuis later this month.

Chicago duo Streetwalker, comprised of molecular biologist Beau Wanzer (Mutant Beat Dance/L.I.E.S) and electronic music aesthete Elon Katz (White Car/Hippos in Tanks), wrote their debut album ‘Future Fusion’ over the course of two years. Through endless experimentation and analog improvisation, they have constructed an entirely new sound showcasing vibrant hand-played synthesizer, vulnerable vocals, and serpentine drum lines. 
Streetwalker’s distinct song structures are characterized as much by restraint, timing, and subtle shift as by the cyclic abandon of the loop. Having recorded the entire album over one humid weekend in the Chicago studio, Minbal, the duo’s recording process mirrored this tension. Much like a rock record, each track was recorded entirely live to 1 inch tape - no overdubs, no MIDI programming - and then painstakingly mixed with digital precision during the six months that followed.
In line with this principle of handcrafted reconfiguration, artwork for the LP was produced in collaboration with digital artist Spencer Longo (IMG Masters/The Jogging), who harvested images and textures from Wanzer’s extensive collection of classic sci-fi and horror editorial to construct an anachronistically futuristic interface.
