Bio:
Ayumi was raised in Tokyo Japan. He bought his first set of turntables at the age of 12 and quickly began collecting Hip Hop, House and Drum n Bass records. At age 14 he moved to Melbourne with his family where a thriving b-boy scene peaked his interest in Funk, Disco and Soul. Before long he began djing regularly at clubs, parties, raves and b-boy competitions. As soon as he turned 18, he moved to the United States, eventually settling in Brooklyn in 2006. In New York a thriving music scene allowed Ayumi to dive into different underground music communities and explore his skills spinning Dubstep, House, Footwork and more. He now spins for events at various clubs such as Verboten, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans Pecos, Palisades & Leftfield. In 2015 Ayumi joined Tekk DJz.
