Zum Jahresende verlässt unsere Lok noch einmal ihren Heimatbahnhof und begibt sich auf eine letzte Reise im Jahre 2021. Unser heutiger Lokführer ist aus dem wunderschönen Allgäu angereist und nimmt uns mit auf eine magische Fahrt durch schneebedeckte Berge und blumige Frühlingswiesen. Begleitet werden wir von sanftem bis hin zu spacigem, treibenden Minimaldubhouse. Dubschmiftz steht seit über 15 Jahren am Steuerrad und entführt die Meute regelmäßig auf ein außergewöhnliches Abenteuer. Von wilden Tänzen in schier nie endenden Nächten bis hin zum tiefen Abtauchen in ausgedehnten Afterhours. Er hat ein wundervoll feines Gespür für atemberaubende Reiserouten, durch welche er seine Fahrgäste mit passender Geschwindigkeit chauffiert. So ist es für ihn, vor allem aber auch für uns, eine riesige Freude, ihn zum Abschluss dieses aufregenden Jahres an Deck unserer Stelli-Lok begrüßen zu dürfen.

Gewidmet ist diese Reise der kleinen Frida, einem ganz besonderen Fahrgast unseres Lokführers.

A perspective, shattered. A taunting memory you're desperate to keep. An unexpected error noticed only after the ink has dried. 
You can't quite remember the last time you felt that you belonged. 
This gray veil around you seems here to stay, at least for a while. 
You wonder why everyone outside of it manages to be so happy all the time.

Ahead of her debut release on 8Ball Audio, we have Sistym on the switches for our guest mix series! 

Australian artist Sistym has a propensity for rumbling low-end soundscapes where the sub rattles your rib cage. Growing up in Perth, she discovered D&B through religiously buying releases from labels such as Hospital Records and Shogun Audio at the local music store. Quickly falling in love with the deeper side of the genre, this new fast paced hyperfocus led her to pick up DJing, eventually resulting in playing on lineups with Andy C, Break and Alix Perez amongst many more. 

Currently based in Melbourne, she is deeply involved in the city’s D&B community and is part of the roster for respected crew The Operatives. In 2023, she founded Midnight Request - an event brand focused on promoting local and international underground acts. 

Sistym’s fondness of moody atmospheres and textures in combination with technical drum breaks and rolling basslines won her a place in the 2023 Overview Music & Dynamics production mentorship. Currently locked deep in the studio, her upcoming debut solo releases have been signed and are ready to unleash.

Appearing at internationally renowned festivals such as Shambhala and Northern Bass as well as murking clubs across the UK and Europe, watch out for Sistym shelling down more dance floors around the globe soon.

Hello there,
I'm working on my productionflow at the moment and making some trap infused beats really helps me focus on the little details of the final sound I want in my music as well as my mixing.
Don't worry I want to make a new Downtempo tune soon but that's the first track I made this year so I wanted to share it with you.
For the main melody I took a sample from some traditional vietnamese music and chopped it up a bit.
