Skelesys has been a firm favourite for years pumping out hit after hit of dark twisted synth-based techno.  Originally hailing from Buenos Aries but now residing in Berlin Skelesys has been leading the charge with that Industrial EBM vibe I've loved since the '80s. He's a producer and live act with a strong musical background. Heavily inspired by Hard Rock, Post-Punk, Synth Pop, science fiction and horror movies. His sound could be defined as haunted and effective, a delicate mixture of basslines, guitar riffs and subtle grooves surrounded by darkness with a stripped-down electronic vibe. Having chatting on and off with Damian about this cast over the years I'm super stoked to finally add his name to the Hostage Radio collection! and yes the mix is a fuckin belter as you would expect!

Amarcord is a producer, DJ and Live Performer. His music, floating in the space between romantic lullabies and dark atmospheres, shows a profound love for the New Wave, Post-Punk and Krautrock sounds of the past, re-imagined from the eye of the modern waves of electronic and dance music.

Amarcord's productions have been appreciated and supported by some of the most influential taste-makers in the underground club scene, from all-time legends like the late Andrew Weatherall and Laurent Garnier to to the new generation acts like Avalon Emerson or Ela Minus and he had the opportunity to play in important venues across Europe and beyond.

After some well received releases on Ombra International (in which he features regularly), Me Me Me and ROAM a new EP is coming out on Damon Jee's Dust & Blood while new projects are on their ways and soon to be announced. Animated by an unstoppable love for music making this young artist is just at the beginning of his exploration into a personal and ever stimulating sonic world.

"Back from the wave is probably the most personal project of Fred Rodrigues-Carreira, French artist ,Dj, and Electronic music producer since twenty years. Influenced by new and Cold wave music and early post-punk bands like Depeche mode , New Order , Norma Loy , Joy Divison or Talking heads but also by the beginning of Acid House and Détroit techno Fred starts production with only a juno 106, a bass station and a sequencer. He started on two French techno labels, Goodlife (The Hacker and Oxia) and Scandium records (Delon and Dalcan). He will also explore all the musical specters under several aliases with different artistic projects. Passionate and curious about music, he naturally becomes Dj and performs in France and abroad.  His production are always dedicated to the dance floor , combining Electro , Techno , Syntwave, like his Dj sets .  Since 2018 Back From The wave has been releasing music on different labels such Ritmo Fatale , Critical Monday , Nein Records or Esthetique Records. The Back From the Wave project is a tribute to all the artists and music that influence Fred today."

Forbidden Colours Series 05 Indie Dance Mix

DJ, producer and co-founder of the label Dust & Blood with Damon Jee ; Ravintsara performs on a dark and wild stage - The selected is expressed through devilish sets soaked in dirt.

Electro / Techno underground loaded with epic and organic borrows.  Beats with satanic groove. Screaming and squeaky guitars. Melancholy melodies. EBM bass line, fat a little salty. Spartan rhythms. Voices inhabited by singularity with nonchalant phrasing. Synths modulate on Waves and are at the center of the musical niche. Classy sounds brought from the grave.

He already spun records with "Dombrance", his partner in crime at one of our Feinstoff nights at Kater Blau. Now he delivers a Feincast in the light of his latest remix of Theodora's "Twist In My Sobriety".

Theodora heard the original 'Twist In My Sobriety' on a cassette compiled by her aunts favourite songs from her teenage years. It struck a chord with her, so she now revisits the melancholic hit with gusto, taking the delicate melody into danceable territory as she whispers the lyrics over a newly relentless beat. The tune has been mixed by Etienne Caylou and intertwines dance, new wave and techno in a style that is Theodora's own. Her voice is the centrepiece, arousing emotion and a furious desire to move. The tune comes with a video by SuperFeat, a visual collaborator on all of Theodora's latest releases.

Giving Theodora's tune an even more club-like feel, British producer and musician David Shaw and the Beat adds his remix. It is a pulsating dark disco cut with chugging drums and snappy hits. The arpeggiated synth keeps you locked while more dazzling cosmic chords bring colour next to Theodora's intimate and alluring vocal.

Karla Lynch is a DJ based in Paris and she is a member of Human Magic Records. Her stage name refers to the eponymous filmmaker and his strange and dreamlike art.

In her sets, expect a concoction of Indie Dance with tribal rhythms and Dark Disco mixing synths and rock sonorities. At nightfall, she explores darker paths with EBM and Trance influences. At the crossroads of Mexico and Berlin, she takes her audience on a psychedelic and dancing journey.

She is set to release her first track this year and will be part of the famous Marvellous Island festival line-up taking place in May 2023.

Petrvs is a DJ and hardware live performer/producer based in Paris. As a DJ, he proposes dark intensifying journeys ranging from Downtempo and Dark Disco to heavy EBM. As a producer, he offers loops and tracks driven by powerful acid basslines with a setup of vintage synthesizers.

Petrvs is part of the duo Supertubos (full hardware live project) since 2017 and founder of Kasa Obake Records, a recently founded label focused mainly on hardware production.
