Different flavors full of the darkest side of disco music, trippy grooves , modern ritual club music, and of course acid and psychedelic peak time bombs for your pleasure

A steadfast beat pulsed from the speakers in each corner of the room, unrelenting in its energy and pace. You could barely make out the shapes of bodies amidst the smoke and the haze, only flickers of silhouettes would form when the strobes flashed. Tonight was a special night, it would be one of the last times they'd dance in this space; somewhere they'd frequented for many years; somewhere they called home. What would come next they didn't know, but at least they'd always have the memories of the freedoms this dance floor had given them...

Ombra International bring friends together for one last hurrah to close out the year. Their VA releases have become a cornerstone of the label catalogue and have connected artists from across the world who are operating in similar sonic territory, namely threads of acid, wave, new beat, EBM and post-punk.

For this one, which also marks the label's 24th release, they enlist the help of Tallin-based producer Sugar Rody, who makes his label debut; as does uju Records boss Shubostar with a new beat club cut; then we're treated to a flip of an 80s classic from Unconscious that features Ombra boss Curses on Vox; before the record is closed out by the guitar and synths of Milan's Astroloop and the psychedelic sounds of Chilean producer Aural Trace.

The acclaimed Catalan DJ and producer Esprit Divers is back with "Sanasana," the name of his latest single, which comes accompanied by three impressive remixes, the first by Venice Arms and two versions made by the in - house artists Theus Mago and Moisees. 

Esprit Divers, also known as Coyu, has been very active in recent months, and his most recent collaboration with his remix of Sierra Madre's "Cumbres" has been a success. Now, he returns to Duro with "Sanasana," a techno cut that features chopped vocals, revealing pads, and synthesizers that drift you away, while the rhythm keeps you in a trance state.

The first remix, made by Venice Arms, the alternate project of Curses, is forceful, aggressive, and booming. With a retro - futuristic vibe, it's full of resonant synthesizers, alarms, and lasers that take you to another dimension. 

The final two remixes, made by Duro's founding artists Theus Mago and Moisees, are equally impressive. The first is a powerful, incandescent, and acid cut with techno and rave influences that make you feel like you're at a warehouse party. The "Fluffy Mix" * that closes the EP, also made by Theus Mago and Moisees, takes you on a dreamlike journey with its resonant arpeggios and sedative pads that transport you between clouds and colors.

Age Of Access (Access All Areas) is part of a 9 versions EP, including an acid remix by Lazercat, to be released on July 21st on Rock Machine Records.
The artwork is illustrated by Benedikt Rugar, whose work includes monthly flyers for Berghain,  Robert Johnsons and Watergate club, and record covers for music labels such as Cocktail d´Amore, Cómeme, Raw Waxes, and various pieces for Red Bull Music Academy, Musik express, De:Bug and Groove magazine.

INCOMING : Electrosexual ft Mavin - Age Of Access - Access All Areas # RockMachineRecords

The Austrian DJ/producer duo Wiener Planquadrat (@wienerplanquadrat) consisting of Michael Weiler and Maximilian Atteneder are the first to feature on Iptamenos Discos’ new single series with ‘Ein Weites Feld’, a powerful single that presents a fusion of sounds from dark disco, electro, acid and house.

Showcasing a wide variety of analogue sounds and synths, the track builds an euphoric and futuristic atmosphere, featuring striking percussion that gives the track a feeling of weight as well as utilising a vocal that blurs the line between human and robot. The song continuously builds up the energy with a flurry of arpeggiators, sweeping pads and acid basslines, giving the listener the sense that they are breaking free from the atmosphere and launching off into space, as if they are floating away in zero gravity.

Wiener Planquadrat has built their sound over a variety of successful releases including their debut hit single ‘Stillstand’ and the follow up EP ‘Dschungel‘, as well as many remixes and collaborations with artists such as Local Suicide, You Man, Kalipo, Dina Summer, Oberst & Buchner & Ali X. In recent times they have been DJing and playing live shows in Berlin, Paris, Thessaloniki, and Vienna as well as focusing on the production of their debut album.

‘Ein Weites Feld’ will release via Iptamenos Discos on digital and streaming platforms on August 8th, 2023 and will feature the original mix, a radio edit and an instrumental mix.

At the beginning of summer there is again an update from Turn It Down Music. The track STRG + F5 comes from label owner BACK FOR GOOD (Matthias Speck). Remix support for this hard refresh comes from none other than Franz Scala (Francesco Scala), Slow Motion Records Label Head and half from Studio Luce. Both the original track and the Franz Scala remix are not stingy with gated reverb, so you feel set back directly to Marty MC Fly back in 1985. While the original track lives above all from its reduced overall appearance, a hypnotic pad and the spaced delay patterns, Franz Scala´s remix is more melodic and impresses with its rousing argeggio bass line.
