Alexander Dorn, better known as Credit 00, returns to Uncanny Valley to release his No More Sad Trance EP, a four tracker highlighting the artist’s musical extravaganza as well as love of experimentation when it comes to own productions and therefore consists out of a conglomerate of sounds and influences reaching from Jungle, Garage over to Trance and 90s Pop and more. Save The Forest!, the last track on the EP, shows signs of Trance-typical sounds with slight 90s nuances put over a lush bass line. Wobbling chords, slight Acid bleeps and short Break-esque round off the track making one musically dive into the rain forest as the before mentioned sounds create not only the atmosphere of it but also deliver an approach for a visualization of the scenery.

French artist Mala Ika joins Roam Recordings with two new original offerings backed by remixes from Phunkadelica and Shubostar to form the Du Bist Ernst EP. Mala Ika has been prolific lately with releases on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Critical Mondays, and Watergate Records. She brings her unique style to Roam starting with the title track Du Bist Ernst which thoughtfully bends an 80s riff into something completely new. Zufall continues to showcase Mala Ika's sound with pulsating synth stabs, arps, and even a little breakbeat floating through this hypnotic tune. Italian duo Phunkadelica who have been topping the charts lately with tracks like 'By The Power Of Grayskull' takes on Du Bist Ernst and delivers a dark driving version. Returning to Roam with her Tracelove remix, Shubostar gives an epic version of Zufall with lush strings, dramatic builds, and some classic rave flavor.

On Polari 019 , Cormac welcomes Jordan Nocturne to his imprint Polari: Dolly EP Drops Digitally on October 27th. The iconic imprint is set to unleash a three-track playful force.

“I first encountered Cormac about 15 years ago when I was a resident at an after-hours queer party called Yello and he was a regular guest. Many years later we bonded over high energy house and disco. I thought it was a nice touch to pay homage to those times, and there's another tip of the hat to Belfast party starters Ponyhawke who have carried the mantle for diverse and inclusive dancefloors in Belfast here in 2023.  The lead track is a collaboration with a Ukrainian artist, Ready in LED and it had Polari written all over it. Olya is a superstar and I’m very excited to be working with her.”

Ready in LED who has recently released on Polari herself, has made a stellar contribution to Jordan‘s forthcoming EP, she lends her extraordinary vocal prowess to the opening track, "Over & Over," infusing it with captivating strength. 99FVR is born. The NYC-based imprint launches - blending intensity, feverish ambiguity and nostalgia. Both entrancing and disorienting, 99FVR is a platform to redefine peak time sounds. It is an expansive state where both euphoria and discomfort can equally coexist. 

'SNAFU,' the first 99FVR single from label boss Kate Stein, plunges listeners into the frenetic atmosphere of a 90's rave culture with its pulsating drums and melancholic bassline. The track captures the experience of navigating through distortion and fading clarity, delivering a state of confusion and chaos, while the high NRG tempo invokes an equal sense of rave nostalgia and euphoria. 

Mala Ika's remix of ‘SNAFU’ stays true to her signature style, serving an elevated sound that features catchy vocals, and channelling a classic house vibe. 

Drawing inspiration from the early 2000’s sounds of New York City, particularly Brooklyn's nu-disco/house revival, Neu Romancer and Radondo's remix of takes the bright energy of the original and reimagines it through their own moody, chuggy lens.

After having recently released on AEON and Roam Recordings, Franz Matthews returns home on his HIFI/LOFI imprint by unveiling his Symmetric Dance EP, showing us once more how the producer likes to play with the codes of House, Space Disco, and Indie Dance by intertwining them and turning them into his very own secret sauce.

The trip starts with the eponymous Symmetric Dance, where a faster-than-usual Franz brings us into the groove with a deep bass line supporting the words of a sort of musical guru, leading you (yes, you.) progressively into the ecstatic moment of the Symmetric Dance, here materialised by a catchy house-y piano part that later exploses into a festival of notes before coming back to an infamous rhythm that we dare you not to dance to. Does it feel like summer ? Yes, probably.

Moving on to Zero Gravity, we step into a fast-paced ride of cosmic synth escapades that take our vehicle on a full throttle run until it has left the launching ramp and floats into mid-air, not really knowing when or where it will land. But, just as you finished catching your breath again, you land back on earth, full speed, and navigate in the middle of another asteroid galaxy tour, taking a few Machs along the way until it is time for the next bump. Will you land back on your feet this time ? Yes, probably.

Closing the cosmic ride, the slower ‘Herbie Crashed The Party’ is a progressive burner constructed around a centre ARP2600 synth line evolving throughout the whole track and being joined by funky guitars, heady synth ornementations, and a stabby brass ensemble that opens up the door to what seems to be the ghost of an unusual guest as the party goes on, which makes us wonder if it was a good idea to let Herbie Hancock in at the party ? And again we will answer : Yes, probably.

Correspondant is happy to present Feel the force, by ROTCIV. Brazil-born and Berlin-based, ROTCIV has been active on the rave scene since the 90s, and started releasing music under this moniker in 2005. Focusing on acid, house, disco and electro through his label Mister Mistery, he has crafted a unique blend of 80s and 90s influences reworked with a contemporary sound. With Feel the force, ROTCIV offers a snapshot into his dancefloor-oriented sonic universe. “Feel the Force” opens the project as a retro futuristic explosive blend of Italo-disco, acid, EBM, and proto-trance elements. Following is "Spread Acid", an uplifting track that embodies the energetic spirit of early 90s Italian and prog-house references, featuring 909 snare drum rolls, 303 acid lines, sweeping delay effects, and piano riffs. The third track, "Nightmare," takes a darker turn, merging dramatic synths, arpeggiated basses, and haunting vocal samples inspired by 80s sci-fi movies. Finally, "Club A Go-Goa," as the name suggests, takes a clubby approach to the classic goa trance sound, delivering a unique taste of psychedelic synths and hypnotic beats. Feel the force is a mighty four tracker, designed to ignite any crowd.
