This is very powerful. As much as the orbit shift around my 29th sun cycle.
Happy YES to the invitation of a lot of new opportunities in life. Such as the double debut at Station Endlos and Rebellion der Träumer.

Bambu Huts in 11.02.24. This is  no ordinary venue; it was a place I had stumbled upon a year before, a serendipitous discovery during a quiet moment of exploration. From the moment I set foot on its sandy shores, I felt an inexplicable connection to it.

The setting sun painted the sky in a palette of warm colours, reflecting off the rough waters of the bay that day.

As I began to mix, I let the surroundings guide my song selection. The melodic beats of uplifting Indie Dance echoed off the cliffs, blending harmoniously with the gentle lapping of the waves. Each track seemed to tell a story, weaving through the salty air and into the hearts of those gathered.

Time lost its meaning as the music carried us on a journey of sound.
We had experienced something truly special, a fleeting moment of unity and harmony with nature and music. The hidden bay had once again worked its magic, leaving us all with a sense of wonder and gratitude for the beauty of the moment.

As I packed up my gear, the gentle sound of the waves served as a reminder that this place held a piece of my heart. I knew I would return, drawn by the irresistible pull of the hidden bay and the memories of an unforgettable DJ set.

✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

Caterina Infinity : Mainly Post Punk, New Wave, the rest is add on! 
I was Born n raised in a hotel bar. The juke box was my favorite toy. This is where it all started. 

Minja : Coming from a classical background it might seem odd that I started enjoying electronic music. The first events I attended at Fusion-Festival and MUNA in Thuringia/Germany, which still, after 30 years of history presents finest house music. 
Soon after I discovered Berlin's Clubscene that broadened my view on what styles of dance music are out there. Nowadays I live groovy, bouncy, uplifting, driving sound. Whether it be influenced by middle eastern-, afro-, and even progressive and technoid sounds.

✔️ What makes a good "afterhour"?

Caterina Infinity :  Nice beats with a touch of ´80 n dirty bass. 

Minja  : Great humans, sunlight, actually I love to sleep before 😅

• Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

Caterina Infinity : Was a last minute invitation from MINJA to share the deck with her. One of the best invitation I ever received. 

Minja  : Back in Thailand, when we played at a secret and secluded beach I had the wish to invite Caterina to this set and it was such a pleasure to be finally making it happen. 


✔️ What was your experience of the set you recorded for the naked tea Party?

Caterina Infinity : That was one of the most memorable  and one of a kind gig I have ever done. Tea was delicious 🤤 

 Minja  :  Wonderful, since the crowd was filled with friends and loved ones, the artists, the dancers, the hosts. Marvelous

BIO Caterina Infinity
Born and raised in a hotel bar, at 5 years old Caterina favorite toys were the jukebox and her roller skates. She spent her days in the basement of her family home listening and dancing to the records of the days. She started making mixtapes at the age of 9 when she received her first radio cassette. Her musical styles include indie dance, dark disco, progressive house and downtempo, with a touch of '80s and a groovy bassline. Her influences come from Post punk music and New Wave. She is also part of the Cosmovision Records label in Montreal.
Caterina has been getting people dancing all around the globe in festivals such as Envision in Costa Rica, Omnia, Illusion, Era...
From underground loft parties in Montreal to beach parties in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Thailand, France and Spain. And in many clubs in France, Japan, Berlin such as Klunkerkranich and Sisiphos and all the way out into the deep playa of Burning Man.
