This is my closing set from OXI Club in Berlin. My goal was a high-energy Techno and Hardgroove set that blends mystical vibes with seductive grooves for a hypnotic experience, guiding you to a good ending of a night full of dancing. This set delivers hard, driving rhythms with a subtle, sexy edge, creating a unique atmosphere that turns the dance floor into a pulsing space of excitement and euphoria.

My final Watergate Set, one night before the closing party. To relive the moment or to experience a fragment of it.
In the weeks before my set, I spent countless hours thinking about what to play. The penultimate night of the club, my first and last mainfloor set, so many friends coming... In the end it was a mixture of tracks I've always wanted to play in this big room, unreleased Schiela-music, newly digged stuff and tracks I've had great moments with in this club over the last 2 years during my sets (like my ALL NIGHT, BABY release party). No show-off of taste, just bangers coming from my heart. And closing with my track "Been A Long Trip" felt like the right thing to do... what a trip this has been....

This set was a farewell to my very personal Watergate experience. I hope you love it as much as I did.

For De Reünie Mix Series 001 who could we invite other than the De Reünie founders themselves - Cybersex!

Cybersex are an Amsterdam based duo in constant pursuit of the purest form of groove and rhythm. Elements of dub, house, and techno flow through their sound—but not at the tempo you’re used to. Playing at a fast pace, they reshape tracks beyond recognition, weaving in glitchy synthesisers, modulators, and an array of drum machines. At the heart of it all is their ongoing evolution, always searching for new rhythms and fresh energy.

This set was recorded in their studio in Haarlem, starting at a lower BPM than usual to ease into the groove. Highlights include the slow yet sexy transition at 13:20–13:50, a standout vocal and rhythm section at 26:20–26:45, and South American-inspired grooves at 38:15–38:55. As the energy builds, 57:05–57:35 brings a loopy, housy rhythm, while 1:16:00–1:16:20 delivers dreamy vocals layered over hypnotic loops. Enjoy the ride!

This mix was created last weekend at Helsinki Decompression. 
I was able to fill the Ponds-Stage with sound during the best hours of the Friday night into Saturday. Truly magical people, some of whom I had already met at dinner that evening and in the days before, quickly found themselves on the dance floor to let me take them on a journey.
With playful grooves and soulful rhythms, the set weaves quirky melodies and pulsating beats into an enchanting tapestry of sound🎶

Helsinki Decompression // Pond Stage 18/04/25

Now this one was special. Played at the first ever Kiskis, a space I helped create, and somehow it still blew past my wildest, filthiest dreams. The energy, the crowd, the sweat... pure chaos in the best way.

Yes, I had some tech hiccups. Yes, I probably nailed like five transitions total. But who cares when the BPM’s banging, the crowd's losing it, and the vibe is pure slutty techno?

Huge love to the crowd. Your filthy, feral energy carried me. I’m dripping with gratitude for every one of you who danced, screamed, moaned, and made KisKis absolute magic.

BPM starts from 150 and goes all the way to 180, mostly cruising in the 155–165 zone. Genre? Fluid, messy, and ready to bite. Even with all the mistakes, this might've been my best one yet.

Giving—one of the core principles of Burning Man and Decompression. I can say, hand on my heart, that I gave it all I got. I'm just so grateful to all the burners who took part in this almost ritualistic house bombardment on Saturday night at The Pond Stage. So many strong memories were co-created. 

Special thanks to Osku for the sound, Kajsa & Aatu, and everyone else who took a leap of faith with the concept and made it a reality.

Deep addiction to moments where magic and emotions are co-created on the dancefloor ✨✨

Why do I do this?
In brief, I want to create a moment that occasionally allows one to retreat into oneself on the dance floor — a space to calm down, reflect on one's life and current state. Then, I have a selection of material that, at least for me, has created a powerful sense of capability — that kind of melancholic euphoria, you probably know what I mean.

Secondly, a shared experience — piecing that together is just as important to me.

Over the past year, I’ve more often managed to create that “in the same boat” feeling on the dance floor. That’s the most important thing for me: when I see people exchanging approving looks, collectively building a co-created experience. With my set, especially, I want to try to weave the dance floor into a shared experience.

I’ve noticed that having a few surprises up my sleeve in terms of music selection really helps with that. When the crowd is even a little on edge wondering what’s coming next, it keeps that good tension and collaborative vibe alive.

I’m happy to put myself in a vulnerable position — even risk becoming a bit of a laughingstock in a situation where some electronic music purist might say, “You can’t do that, it’s tasteless crap.” But then it ends up working on the floor in that moment. And if it doesn’t — that’s a small price to pay for when it does.

I believe emotional intelligence is essential for a great DJ, alongside great musical taste and huge collection of records. Hundreds of nights at the dancefloor will also help to get the job done. 

I take this craft very seriously, but that doesn’t mean I can’t approach it with a touch of playfulness. I have played from Après-Ski in Alps to Clubs, Bars to Underground Raves to regional Burning Man events. 

I spend hours daily digging new music. I have a huuuge collection from disco to minimal to progressive and deep house to techno.
