Underground System returns to Razor-N-Tape with the Looking In EP - a 5-track offering of fresh originals and remixes. Ranging from low-slung balearic grooves, to driving left-field funk and urgent uptempo backbeats, the record is a fine-tuning of the US sound, complete with their signature flute and synth soundscapes, driving percussion, and catchy offbeat vocal hooks. On the B-side, RNT mainstays Nenor and Clive From Accounts take two of the tunes into clubbier territory, with a pair of remixes primed for the dance floor.

We're really excited to bring you one of London's most exciting DJs currently bubbling up through the scene. Drawing inspiration from sounds of the 70s discotheque, this selector keeps people moving with mixes of Disco, Old School House, and an eclectic selection of Vocal and Dance tunes. Influenced by 90s music from New York and Chicago, MiNNA combines her joy and curiosity of music & dancing by finding new tracks and digging through old records, which she began doing from the age of 12. 

"For this mix I wanted to open up with a few Disco gems then head to some more Housey flavours, as well as dipping into some Vocal and Garage House I’ve found digging recently. Currently I’m really into proper Old-school 90s House and wanted to play some tracks I love from some iconic labels such as Madhouse Records, Soulfuric, Z Records and BPM King St. Sounds. I’m often asked ‘When are you going to post a new mix?’. Truth be told it’s been a long time since I’ve found the inspiration to record a mix for MYSELF, in my home set-up, vinyl only. 

This mix has no fancy camera angles, no excessive dancing, and no talking. Straight to the subject… deep & broken beats. 

I recorded this on Christmas Day, showcasing some tunes I’d used and cherished over 2024.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those loyal people who keep coming back to my page, coming to events, and showing love. This year has opened my eyes to building a fantastic community, long may it continue.

Vinyl Mix: House Music With Feeling

My 90-minute mix taken from 'Lev & Farrow Presents' at The BBE Store. This was one of my favourite recent gigs, full of dancers and real supporters. Pandar (In the photo) played just before me and had the crowd on ropes by the time I put my first record on. The vibes stayed at a high all night long.
