“We Are Crazy” is the third solo album by Polish producer Minoo, this time published by the Czech Post-Label. Minoo delivers a trademark concoction of wonky paired with glitch-hop and dash of a softer variety of electronic music. The album consists of 8 tracks. In addition to the digital version, it will also be distributed in the form of postcards. 

The title refers to the stereotypical perception of the work of artists - often irrational and detached from reality of our world driven by money. But in the words of Henri Michaux: ‘He who hides his madness, dies voiceless’.

New Release from Minoo is Electronic-Inspired Future Sound

Polish music producer Minoo is going to release his fourth solo album titled, Bangers Must Die! 5th of January 2018.

Cooperating for the second time with Mad-Hop Records, Minoo’s new release features electronic sounds at the forefront of his album, with future-beat climaxes and a mixture of synth sounds. The record has eight tracks, including a remix produced by Sina. (Project Mooncircle), and is available to buy on vinyl and as a digital download via the Bandcamp portal. 

Minoo is associated with Asfalt Records and Mad-Hop Records, and until now has released four producer albums. He has performed at various concerts and festivals around the world, including China, Italy, Luxemburg, Germany, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic.

His music oscillates with the sound of future beats and chill wave, with his aesthetic core featuring synthesizers and experimental beats. He runs an original radio program at Off Radio Kraków called ‘Beat Tools’ and is the author of the "Fresh Sounds" review, which appear on the pages of the Estrady and Studio monthly. 

During performances, he presents a creative approach to live shows, so that each performance is a unique event and experience not to be missed!

Trzy lata po „III” kIRk wraca z nowym longplayem. „Ich dzikie serca” to koncept-album z wyrazistą dramaturgią, zwrotami akcji i mocnym finałem. „Ich dzikie serca” to historia o śmiałkach, którzy wyruszyli odkrywać nieznane. Opowiada o ich zmaganiach z niezbadaną przestrzenią, o lęku i podnieceniu, które odczuwali będąc milion lat świetlnych od domu, o przemianie, której doświadczyli w obliczu spotkania z obcym. To płyta o głodzie poznania, przekraczaniu granic i szaleńczej wręcz odwadze, a zatem – o człowieczeństwie po prostu. „Ich dzikie serca” stanowi kolejny etap poszukiwań zespołu zapoczątkowanych w zeszłym roku siedmiocalowym wydawnictwem „Za ostatni grosz” (z pamiętną interpretacją przeboju Budki Suflera).

Three years since the release of “III”, kIRk returns with “Ich dzikie serca” (“Their Wild Hearts”), a brand new concept album typified by a distinct storyline, narrative twists and turns, and a gripping finale. “Ich dzikie serca” (“Their Wild Hearts”) is a story of intrepid daredevils who have ventured out into the unknown. It treats of the attempt to tackle the uncharted territory, of fear and excitement that they experienced million light years away from home, of the metamorphosis that they underwent upon encountering the Other. This is a record of the thirst for knowledge, of transgression and recklessness, of – in a nutshell – humanity as we all know it first-hand.

“Ich dzikie serca” (“Their Wild Hearts”) constitutes yet another phase of the band’s creative exploration initiated last year on “Za ostatni grosz” [“For the Last Cent”], a seven-inch vinyl single featuring their memorable interpretation of Budka Suflera’s evergreen.

Paweł Pruski is an artist from Krakow, Poland who has previously had vinyl albums released under the name of Minoo and more recently, Ambient albums as Pruski. One such was a contribution at the beginning of our Home Diaries series after we had postponed the release of his album ‘Playground’. His work pushes and extends the boundaries of Ambient and Drone music and he also performs as a live act in events and festivals around the world.

Playground is a journey into a child’s world. A world without sophisticated sentences, complicated relationships or conventions. Here, the most important things are gestures, curiosity and surprise. It is discovering what is around, fascinated by nature. It is an attempt to look from the side back to the beginning of our journey in this world. What was it like to be surprised by the colour of the leaves, rain, and the ticking of the clock? For this is a journey to a place where the tree is the whole world, and a small meadow can be the whole cosmos.

Minoo – musical project from Poland, revolves around experimental hip-hop and electronic. In 2011 released album White Mice in Asfalt Records (one of the most prestige hip-hop label in Poland) on vinyl and extra on a cd. In the material we can find always changing proportions – sometimes hip – hop is going into back stage and it is covered by some different motives, and in the other time it is dominating. Minoo has been bound up with many organizations related to art in Poland. Apart from being involved in to a musical career, the Minoo project deals with organizational matters and gives a unique radio broadcast.He supported The Five Corners Quintet (Freeform Festival), Flying Lotus (Nowamuzyka Festival) and many others.
