Collaboration between me and the mighty Safety Word!  Simon from the Safety Word sent me the completed instrumental track, and said I could do anything I wanted with it :)

I can count on one finger the number of times I've contributed only vocals to a song before.  Usually I'm more of a solo operator.  I have learned it's nice to play with other kids!

The Taste Of Summer 2A

Minorarc... progressive and experimental melodics born of Melbourne (Dawn Industry) producer Ivan. Three years have past since the debut self titled album "Minorarc", which was a hard and relentless shift from earlier electronics and piano, into a new world of grit and urban filth. Involution is a small collection of new works and a few re-interpretations of previous material. Classical and orchestral rivers flow through a metallic guitar wasteland of despair, hatred and re-assessment of "self". Produced in a home studio via Samplitude, Reason, GR5, Novation Xio, Alesis QSR and Ibanez guitars. Many thanks to Ben of Cassandra's Myth for the vocals on End Point.

Here's a sneak preview for you all - a demo working of one of our band's pieces, featuring Ben Smith and Ivan Bullock on guitars and me on vocals. A little prettier and quieter than most of our usual output! Thanks to the lads for some gorgeous guitar work.

Minorarc is a progressive metal, dark classical and electronic experimental music project by Australian producer / underground community founder Ivan Bullock. A sonic exploration of despair and regret, built through piano, guitar, bass and synthesis.

The debut album “Minorarc” was released in 2010, and formed a relentless shift from earlier works (Mystral Tide project 1999-2010), into a new world of decay and urban ruin.

Several performances and four years on, an Involution EP was quietly released as a collection of new material and re-interpretations. Classical and orchestral rivers flowed through a metallic guitar wasteland of discontent and decline.

Minorarc would like to thank its contributors Ben of Cassandra’s Myth / Sleeplab and Brett of Sarcophony for their bass and vocal guest artistry in this project to date.
