Second Tension is a project by Stavros Tilkeridis, a Greek artist and DJ. Stavros started creating music back in the early nineties, with next to no access to the outside world. 

He started with tape loops, not too dissimilar to those by Pierre Schaffer, and got his hands on his first sampler, Mpc 2000xl, by the late nineties. Stavros was introduced to rave culture in the early two-thousands and experimented his way through them, using his music to search for a deeper, hidden meaning. 

He started Second Tension in 2016 as an attempt to capture a progressive spirit in electronic music, combining primitive and industrial aesthetics. With 2 EPs and an LP, Second Tension has been released on labels such as Persephonic Sirens, OSM Tapes, Clan Destine and Monolith.

Highly praised by Dark Disco fans, EMB lovers, Industrial buffs, Techno heads, and fangy bats, the interesting British label and event series Khoinix brings to life another episode of its full-of-darkness story, this time featuring Äitee and his original-only debut EP: “Blue Swarm” develops its magic through six well-elaborated cuts that work as a showcase of the most intimate influences of the promising Berlin-based French producer.

From the complexity of the opening piece, “Un Si Long Chemin”, to the exasperation of the closing act, “Antiphore”, the “Swarm” excites those in search of a different kind of sonority, far away from the ready-made and predictable Top-100 Charts out there.

For the powerful “HII Forest”, Äitee came up with a menacing and eerie atmosphere triggered by an unyielding ghostly layer and metallic percussive elements resulting in a psychedelic and trippy experience enhanced if you dare dance to it at a packed and sweaty dance floor with the eyes closed. Zeitreise is a duo and co-founders of Brutal Forms. Their sound evolves constantly, merging Industrial, Doom, and Power Electronics in both DJ sets and live performances, refusing to conform and pushing listeners toward new sonic frontiers.

This mix, recorded for Gwi Myeon Records, delves deep into the bleak landscapes of Industrial-Doom, blending oppressive textures with ritualistic rhythms. It’s a descent into raw sonic matter, where distortion breathes, silence fractures, and every frequency feels like a fragment of collapsed machinery echoing in a sacred void.

It was in 2013 that Parisian DJ Minor Player fell in love with techno and its world, after an evening spent in the famous Danish club Culture Box. Since then, she has continued to increase her knowledge of techno music. It is therefore as a true enthusiast of the New Wave movement and its sub-genres that Minor Player quickly developed an appetite for EBM and its artists, such as Mind / Matter, XTR Human, OTHR, Sarin or Reka. Minor Player intends to transport her audience into the post-industrial era of the 80s whose cold and metallic, but incredibly catchy sounds transport us into an ode to letting-go in each of her sets. Their captivating complexity led her to join the Atrium collective. Minor Player also offers a residency on Line Out Radio dedicated to her favorite genre and the artists who inspire her on this scene.

Aliha attracted attention in Hamburg with some incomparable underground raves in an old abandoned bunker. Together with Temasa she is now Hosting Hamburgs Party and Podcast Series Neogen.
She has already curated parties at various Clubs in Hamburg like PAL and Rote Flora and there is more to come from her.
Since her Homebase PAL had to close its doors, she played in some of Hamburgs Most famous Clubs like Südpol and Übel und Gefährlich. But also in Berlin, in Budapest or Pavoia Festival in Poland you could have seen her making people dance and bringing some spark to the venue. You will hear that she is inspired by natural sounds and some housy tunes. She definitly has her own well-known sound which is hypnotic with a lot of emotion and a groove that keeps you moving.
