The Italian DNB scene has gone through numerous waves of growth over the year, supported by a few inspirational and dedicated crews with strong roots in original rave culture.

Rikki Calliari, aka Frame, is a unique part of this growth wave and the ever evolving bass movement in Europe. As a DJ, producer and co-founder of Rude Sound, Frame has seen a plethora of releases across multiple labels that span the diverse frontiers of bass - including The Dreamers, Delta9 and Influenza Media.

We are therefore excited to welcome Frame into the Unchained famiglia, with his debut release on the label, the Arabic Gum EP.

Centring around quirky danceability, the title track’s middle eastern flavours raise an otherwise menacing dark steppa into an exquisite blend of hypnotic drum and bass, followed closely by an even weightier smooth roller, Blonde or Brunette. Good Feeling arrives just in time for summer with uplifting synths paired with cheeky horn samples and hefty subs. Then, In My Mind, Frame reworks the 90s Jungle sound complete with minimal amen breaks, vocal stand and rave funk balanced by clinical production.

Definitely a well crafted serving on our 2021 menu, We really hope you like this one!

After his track 'Pretty Simple Music' received plenty of support from the likes of Dossa & Locuzzed, Azaleh, Madusea and many more, we are proud to welcome back Livid Cheese to the label for his debut EP. These three tracks showcasing Livid Cheese's versatility while also bringing in the production talents of Limbish and Kolonie; as well as the vocal talents of Lina Rosenthal.

Starting off with 'Kolonie' featuring Limbish - a German speech leads us to a track that delivers funk in spades while also displaying both of these producers' love for complex drums and psytrance atmospherics. This is followed by 'Whistles of Lust' featuring Lina Rosenthal on vocals and Matec on additional production. The trio have delivered a stunning vocal-led liquid roller with a mystifying piano line and gritty basslines. The EP is wrapped up by the title track in which Livid Cheese finds himself 'Lost in The West' with natural foley atmospherics enveloping the track before Livid Cheese gives us a masterclass in drum choppage and sound design while effortlessly telling a narrative through his music.

Jakub Šenšel aka Minor Rain started producing in 2009 From this year, actively involved in production, along with his friend as soundNbeats.
They have issued many labels like Breakfast Audio, Fokuz, Celsius, and more...
 In 2011 he created his own project called Minor Rain where he focuses on deeper styles and experimental electronic music.

I was always fascinated by music. when I was six parents have signed up for piano. I was an active him 6 years. Then I want to play on saxophone so I went for that. On sax I played for 2 years. Then I ended up with it and I stopped all my music activities. For a few years I have devoted to other things. But again I started to be interested for music. With my friend, we agreed that we´ll produce
music. We built a provisory studio in we constantly we looked for more and more technique. Quite quickly we got the first release. It was be point where we said "we can´t stop" and we haven´t stopped. We achieved a lot of labels. In 2011 I realized that I wanted to experiment and create tunes that I wanted to add more my feelings. But soundnbeats had two members, so everyone wanted something a little different. And so it occurred to me creating my own solo project
where I could fully develop.
