Mix 02 features a virtual trip from our guest artist, Mint June. The idea wraps around the feeling of both virtual connectivity and detachment from reality during quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Accompanying the mix is an experimental short film by Angela Ricciardi, which visualizes the memory of togetherness in a live music space, and blends what was, then, human interaction with pixelated afterthoughts.

Initially pursuing the liberation from conventional music, Mint June has come to produce within genres such as downtempo, house, industrial techno, and experimental film score, as can be heard in his debut EP “test 1.”
