Straight out of London, ADMNTi is becoming one of the tastemakers of his generation. His extensivley developed signature sound has recieved widespread appeal from connoisseurs of the scene and all those on the dancefloor.

Next up on our mix series we have Charlie Banks, who provides 1 hour of grooves to warm us up for his debut appearance at Mint Warehouse on 1st May for the Frequency Terrace Party, where he will perform alongside Archie Hamilton, Oden & Fatzo, Jaden Thompson and more! 

London based DJ & Producer Charlie Banks made an impressive introduction to the scene in 2019 with widely acclaimed releases on Archie Hamilton’s Moscow Records and Moss Co.

Next up we welcome @bass_jamz founder @gaskin._ who presents an hour of new unreleased tracks, house grooves and none stop Energy. Gaskin and the Bass Jamz Crew will be hosting The Loft for our June Terrace party with Anotr, Rossi, Lauren Lo Sung and Pach. 

Newcastle based producer Gaskin has been working hard in the studio over the last few years and is finally starting to get his music out there. 

Gaskins music is currently been supported by the likes of Djoko, Rossi, Chris Stussy, Julian and more. Keep your eyes peeled for releases in the near future.

Emma Forster has been making her mark as an upcoming Melodic House DJ and producer. Supporting the likes of Hot Since 82, Solardo, Ben Rau and Camelphat her most recent remix on Knee Deep in Sound has been a milestone for her career. Off the back of “Verano” released on Storm Music she gained over 125,000 streams to date. 

You can catch Emma playing at places like Mint Warehouse and The Terrace Party, Distrikt, The Warehouse and Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle with a creative mix of deep house, melodic tech and forgotten acapellas.

Mix Series 008 // Emma Forster

ELLÉ is an upcoming house DJ who fell in love with Leeds music scene when she first moved here 6 years ago. Being a regular at many of the mint parties over the years this is where it all began. She has now proudly played at many mint parties with more to come. 

The Bass Jamz resident has recently been working on her own production over the last year and takes inspiration from the minimal house scene such as PIV records and Eastenderz. She has supported the likes of East End Dubs, Chris Stussy, Prunk, Rossi, Anotr and Oden & Fatzo. 

With the achievements made in her 2 years in the music scene we see no slowing down. Keep an eye out for her in the near future.

Mix Series 013 // ELLÉ

Rendr : Sound Pursuit are a Cheshire based project consisting of Swift, Tabs & Jayro, the alias formed from their label, Rendr Records. The trio recently signed to Sensory talent management for all there bookings. 

They draw influences from the ever present and growing deep tech/minimal house scene, describing their sound as upbeat driving minimal house made for the dance floor, mirroring the ‘Rendr’ sound.

Over the past 18 months the trio have gone from strength to strength supporting artists such as Dyed Soundorom, Ricardo Villalobos, Darius Syrossian, Fabe, Djoko, Janeret, Demarzo, Aron Volta and many many more. 

Rendr : Sound Pursuit have spent the majority of 2022 with a busy tour schedule, consisting of over 25 gigs from places such as Mint Warehouse main room all the way to their first overseas gig in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. Also having several appearances at festivals such as hosting their own stages at Into The Woods Festival & Leeds, all in between headlining & supporting various different club nights up and down the UK.

The trio have been spending more time in the studio this year working on releases together after previous success in solo releases aswell as new projects for Rendr, with there label roster already having well established artists signed, such as Djebali, De La Swing, Rossi, Oden & Fatzo, Fabe, Sidney Charles, Casey Spillman, Ray Mono and other industry heavyweights.

Mix Series 021: Rendr: Sound Pursuit

Hitting the mint mix series next is two Leeds based DJ’s and producers DXNBY (Harry Danby) & Foxy Mann (Elliot Mann).  

These two first locked in the idea of doing this a few years back meeting at the phenomenal mint festival FUSE stage, the pair knew in years to come this had to be put down and simply given to the people.

Both artists having a serious passion for high octane, full flavour House and everything that comes with it. This lead them to creating a lasting fellowship helping each other in the creative arts of producing and mixing music as well as other artistic outlets. 

Both artists also being founders of their own brands 20 thirty and SECOND DECADE two slowly rising fruitful events populating Leeds with these house flavours they both have such a passion for. 

Neither of them are strangers to supporting big artists such as Seb Zito, Rich NXT, Jaden Thompson, Charlie Banks, Robbie Doherty, locklead and many more they finally bring their sounds and inspiration together. With big plans for growing in 2023 this B2B may be the first of many.

Mix Series 23 // DXNBY b2b FOXY MANN

Sheffield based DJ Charlotte Ord has been tearing up dancefloors up and down the country. With her experimental catalogue of music ranging from minimal house to rolling speed garage, matching any vibe the crowd brings to her, Charlotte really knows how keep the party going.

She has made a name for herself in her hometown Sheffield, performing alongside names like Mella Dee, East End Dubs, Ewan McVicar, Enzo Siragusa, Eats Everything and Seb Zito to name just a few. Notable recent appearances at Manchester’s Joshua Brooks & MiNT Warehouse rounded off a whirlwind 2022 for Charlotte.

Mix Series 024 // Charlotte Ord

Born in Heywood (Manchester, UK), Sam Curran has always had an interest in music. However, his interest in music production came at the young age of 11 years old. Experimenting with various different genres and techniques, he has been refining his style over the years. At only 21 years old, Sam has received an overwhelming amount of support from some of the biggest artists in the world. 



Over the past few years, Sam’s career has ascended to new levels. He’s co-founded his own record label and events company, ‘Till? Records’.  The brand has grown to incredible heights in just a small amount of time and will continue to elevate for years to come.



In terms of Sam’s individual career, it is slowly but surely building towards a long career of sustained success. Having now released on record labels such as Jamie Jones’ Hottrax imprint and Deeperfect. Every piece of music he has produced has received critical acclaim from the scene, and now Sam is firmly placed in driving seat to follow his passion and live his dream.

MIX SERIES 025 // SAM CURRAN

Paddy Lee (20), DJ and producer from Preston, currently living and studying in Newcastle. 

He has been producing for around four years after a family holiday to Ibiza set a spark to dove a step further into the world of music. Last year (2022) was really the starting point for him, playing at Hide and Seek festival and receiving immense support for my tracks from the you&me crew, most apparently Josh Baker. Late last year he became a resident of Manchester's infamous you&me, playing at a number of their parties with many more lined up for this coming year. 

His debut release on you&me is set to hit the shelves anytime soon, with news on more soon to come…... he takes great inspiration in his sound from the likes of Quest, Anthea, Christain AB and many more, providing that spacey, wonk feel. He has been digging for the past few weeks and have found some great tunes and wax for this mix.

Will Druid, founder of queer-centric party Drip, serves up an hour of house thumpers with flavours of garage and tribal for our series.

After establishing Drip in February 2022, Will has hosted artists such as Shanti Celeste, GIDEÖN, NIKS and Aiden Francis, among other queer and minority talent from Leeds and beyond. Check out Drip 006 at Wire on 31sth March.

Will is super excited to open the main room for our party with Chaos in the CBD and Sally C on 18th March - expect his record bag to be full of attitude, groove and probably a camp vocal or two.

Hoax co-founder Dan Bradshaw has found himself fully captivated in the electronic music scene, starting off with a residency at the renowned club brand Solar Knights whist also securing gigs at Motion in Bristol and as far afield as South East Asia & Australia.

Since then Dan has been curating his sound by digging for gems in record shops and establishing his brand Hoax uk by kicking off unique parties at various locations up and down the country.

Dan has also opened a record store where he runs a podcast series featuring up & coming artists which will be going live this summer.

The next insalment in our mix series welcomes PAB, a Leeds based DJ who has been making a name for himself in the scene over the past 2 years.

PAB is one of the founders of TETRA, a fresh house music events brand who have hosted 8 unforgettable parties around Leeds since their launch. They also have some exciting plans for 2023 with parties at IF at Night, Sheaf Street and Distrikt!

PAB has supported some of the heavyweights in the current scene with the likes of GASKIN, ADMNTi, Local Dub, Mike Morrisey,  ASH-R, Anthiago, Just Jamm & DXNBY. With a mixture of TETRA parties and other bookings, this list is growing significantly in 2023.

@latereplies Who have all shown support for his sound, that incorporates strong grooves and a rolling percussion.

Originally from Leeds, Jake first began djing in august 2022 after attending numerous festivals and coming to the realisation that djing and music production was something he wanted to pursue. 

Distrikt has played host to Jake’s first sets and this Saturday he warms up The Loft at Mint Warehouse.

Jake’s music style takes a lot of inspiration from artists similar to Alisha and Wheats. This mix showcases Jakes love for old school vocals combined with minimal beats.

I’m a house DJ with a keen interest in underground and 90’s house music. Growing up I didn’t have much going on in my hometown of York so I thought to put on my own party INSTINCT where I hosted and supported some solid selectors such as Nathan Inman, James Saunders and PACH. I’ve branched out recently into the Leeds scene where I’ve played at Distrikt and more recently opening the terrace at Mint Warehouse for The Terrace Party. 

For this mix, I delved into my record collection and played some tracks I’ve really been feeling as of recent and also some gems that I forgot about, I feel as though this mix especially encapsulates my sound as a DJ but I also had the dance floor in mind.

Martini aka Alessandro Martini, is an up and coming DJ / producer based in the UK. Influenced by Leeds underground minimal scene, he has developed a standout sound defined by deep basslines, murky vocals and glitchy percussions. Gaining support from industry heavyweight, Detlef and plays on BBC Music Introducing, makes him one to watch as he continues to grow in 2023.

Introducing ELDERADO Founder of REKTEKEVENTS. Coming from Bradford,  House, Bassline & Garage have been a big influences for his developlemt as a DJ and Producer. Elderado likes his sets, music and parties all to have a theme of heavy basslines and solid Vocals with a constant groove throughout to create a full hands in the air Party environment! Growing as an Artist and Event Promoter he is definately one to watch for the future with Releases of New Music and Big Parties all in the pipeline.

Straight from the heart of Leeds (UK) up and coming House and Tech House production duo James Horne & Izaac Clarke, collectively known as VOLEX are continuing to grow and make a name for themselves in the underground music scene. 

Both Izaac and James discovered their love for dance music at a young age, this inspired them both to produce their own music and start a journey, which slowly turned into an obsession for them. 

While only recently forming in the last couple of years VOLEX are well known for their high energy, bass driven and uplifting sound. Last year the duo travelled to Ibiza to showcase their unique sound. They have also performed at UK based Reading Festival & MiNT Festival and many more, the pair are constantly on the road giging and have performed in just about every major city in the UK. 

As VOLEX continue to grow their own platform over the last few years they have supported major brands throughout events; Such as Hot Creations, Knee Deep in Sound, Cocoon in the Park, The Terrace Party’s, System, MiNT and more.

To date VOLEX have featured on lineups with some of the worlds most successful and renowned DJ’s & producers including; Hot Since 82, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Latmun, Archie Hamilton, Andrea Oliva, George Smeddles & more.

Having released on YouDoYou Records, Blanc and their most recent single on CR2 Records ‘Higher’ VOLEX are continuing to ever grow their sound and put their own mark on the underground scene.
