There is not one such DJ, but rather a music/dance system called 5 Rhythms that reliably gets this done all over the world — taking ecstatic dancing to a much deeper level. Enjoy this 5 Rhythms mix, which was carefully built and recorded live at a Sunday event called Ecstatically Yin. 

This 5 Rhythms musical arc is a journey that is roughly comparable to the course of your life, weeks and days. It has musical intensities which gradually build and settle down in a manner that the body recognizes, and can easily incorporate. Healing, opening, invigorating, confidence boosting, this mix when danced with will nurture the soul.

Love is a Spectrum

A return to the dance community, this mix is an extra special one for me. Filled with tracks that I slowly relearned how to walk to, stand move again after a severe spine surgery.  Not my best mixing due to medical reasons, but still a favorite and special evening. This lovely evening in San Luis Obispo County was filled with amazing costumes, lots of hugs, fog machines, lights, lazers, and wonderful shapes all over the dance floor. Live Mix - LUMINOSITY Ecstatic Dance

8/4 - Not my best mixing and live DJ performance due to equipment issues, this was still a fun feet blistering mix during Ecstatic Dance SLO at the Nexus Ballroom. 

As a 5Rhythms disciple, I created this mix using the rhythms of flow, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness — weaving the crowd through various waves of healing, expansion and confidence. I kept the crowd in staccato and chaos for an extended period during the second half to drive further expansion and release.
