Words of Akaal – Daily Nitnem is a Full album of the Daily Paaths to be recited by a Sikh.
As Sikhs know Akaal Purakh (God Himself) gave these words to Guru Nanak Dev Ji and from there Guru Nanak Dev Ji undertook 10 Body Vessels in the form of the 10 Gurus to compile the Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Words Of Akaal the Album consists of the Daily Nitnem Banis which a Gursikh Recites as according to the Rehit Maryada (Code Of Conduct) for Sikhs.  We are releasing this album so people can become familiar with the Banis.  Tarli Digitals musical touches add beautiful mediational Natural sounds into the ambience for those who wish to meditate, listen and Do the Banis.  

It is recommended that one commits and try’s to recite these banis daily with discipline and pure love channelled towards the creator and his creations.

Words Of Akaal Daily Nitnem – We urge anybody who obtains a copy of these divine Shabads to treat these with utmost sanctity and respect.  The CD will be available shortly and this release will also have a free download online shortly.
It should be the objective of the person who obtains this release to be able to recite these Banis using a Gutka Sahib.  Try not to fall into a habit of just listening to these banis as they should be recited.  Also the same applies for the ardas tracks.  We hope these ardas’s will trigger Sikhs to be able to do there own ardas to Akaal Purakh Ji as it is fast becoming a ritual to offer a Gurdwara Granthi a donation and he carries out the ardas for you.  Ardas should be performed by one to Akaal Purakh there is not a need for a middle man unless one cannot perform the ardas themselves.

01 Japji Sahib Ji

This is the long mantra of Chenrezig or Avalokitesvara - the Boddhisatva of Compassion. The short version "Om Mani Peyme Hung" is said to contain all 84,000 teachings of the Buddha in 6 syllables. This recording is an offering of prayer to the people and land of Nepal after a devastating Earthquake caused much damage and many deaths in April 2015. Om Mani Peyme Hung is chanted for many purposes, one is to bless those who pass on to transition from this world into the higher realms. A gentle yet expansive spirit pervades all the music of Mirabai Ceiba. The delicate sounds of harp, piano, and guitar blend with lovingly intertwined voices amid lush celestial soundscapes. Their concerts are group celebrations for peace—joyous and loving occasions that embody the duo's profound belief in music as a universal language uniting all the world's peoples, cultures and traditions.

Mirabai Ceiba is a duo consisting of guitarist/singer Markus Sieber and singer/harpist/pianist Angelika Baumbach. They come from different parts of the world. Markus is East German. Angelika was born in Tucson, Arizona, and grew up in a small village near Mexico City, the daughter of a Mexican mother and German father.

Together, Angelika and Markus have forged engaging new style of world devotional music blending Gurmukhi mantras from the Kundalini Yoga tradition with original songs in English and Spanish that reflect a Native American influence and also draw words of wisdom from Rumi, Thich Nhat Hanh, Guru Nanak and Yogi Bhajan. Through exquisitely crafted recordings like their CD A Hundred Blessings, Mirabai Ceiba weave a beguiling tapestry from these diverse influence and sources. And that's what the music feels like: a beneficent and abundant gift from the universe. In concert, they inspire all present to chant together in a spirit of compassionate love and Oneness.

Even the name Mirabai Ceiba embodies the influences of both India and Native Latin America. Mirabai (1498-1547) was a Hindu mystical singer. Her songs express the longing of the individual self to be one with the universal self, represented by Krishna. For Angelika and Markus, the name Mirabai "is the exploration, the devotion, the inspiration in all the different aspects of divinity."

And the Ceiba is a sacred tree of Latin America which is never cut and grows very tall. "We wish our music could be like the Ceiba tree," say Markus and Angelica, "with roots deep in Mother Earth and branches extending far and wide into Father Sky."
