Hello everyone, and welcome. Its time for us to pack our dancing shoes and get ready to hot-foot along to another PFG Progcast, our first class exclusive travel experience around Planet Prog!

Another new entry into the passport this week as we head south to Slovenia for the first time. Here a relatively new scene awaits us, yet one filled with quality, taste and pioneers, one of whom PFG are extremely happy to have onboard.

Stereolynk are a brilliant multi-dimensional duo currently twisting techno and house fans into rapturous fits. Comprised of Alex Nemec, head honcho of Mirabilis Records, and Nenad Putnik a seasoned musician who can play a multitude of instruments and is involved in various jazz, funk and indie projects. Together they have developed a dominant presence in the top tier of dance music, a rise that parallel to their successful solo careers.

When not in the studio writing original material putting their unique spin on tracks by myriads of artists Stereolynk can be found showcasing their sound on DI.FM.. Their dance floor orientated DJ sets have seen them play in Italy, Serbia, Croatia and Austria, as well as festivals. Totally unconstrained by boundaries they effortlessly transition between House, Techno and everything in-between, demonstrating an immaculate understanding of exactly what the dance floor needs.

Simplistically, Stereolynk's music is all about moving bodies, not turning knobs, all the while giving way to an unprecedented degree of dynamism in dance clubs around the globe. This mix accurately describes what they do best; colossal haunting house and techno, overflowing with noise, static and epic builds, wrapped in one tasteful package! Mirabils Records jumps into the summer with a fabulous EP form one of Lithuania's finest dj and producer Donatello!
He's back in our camp with a superb two track EP!

The main track 'Traffic' is kicks things off with a building groove and a very catchy bass line until the first breakdown where the warm pads drop in. Then track then strips back to basics but just for a little while before it starts building back to its full groove and leads us to the main break where the old school kinda piano riff drops in and puts a smile on your face and makes u dance till the dawn and more!

"Magic secrets" goes down the same route. Produced with big sound systems in mind with it's punchy groove, pounding bass line, quirky percussion and warm and hypnotic, balearic melodies this one is set to be a biggie on the terrace!

Release number 80 and label head Alex Nemec returns and delivers a special collaboration with Alexander Madness titled "Good Enough" and we called in two exceptional remixes from the ever busy Vazik and Ian Dillon, who is in top form lately!

The original is a groovy mixture of techno meets tech-house meets progressive. A crisp groove that builds slowly up layer after layer combined with the driving percussions and a potent bass line get the whole thing going properly, while the synth lines and various sweeps and pitched down vocal samples build up the tension.

Vazik add a deeper touch with softer groove, but cleverly using the potent bass line from the original and adding some warm pads and spaced out effects. the result is a hypnotic and versatile version that will appeal to a plethora of djs!

Ian Dillon cleverly chops up the main bass riff and backs it up with a razor sharp groove and adds some mad synth lines that add a proper rave-y feeling which keeps building and building to a mad effect in the second half till the main break where a gentle female chant comes in before the groove and synth lines start building up again to cause some more mayhem.

Warm Textures is back for it's fifth edition after a longer break, featuring eight warm and forward thinking melodic and deeper tracks from some of the brightest new and upcoming producers among some well known lads in the industry.

In alphabet order, first up there's an excuisite offering from A.R.E.S. with "Doubling Time Theory", a slick journey into melanchonic progressive waters.

Christopher Hermann follows the same path with his "Departure" just with a slightly more peak-time vibe.

DaGeneral drops "Together". A thumping bassline and crisp grooves blend perfectly with the vocal snippets and synth layers.

"Red Room" sees David Salazar dive into percussive grooves with lots of melodic elements that build up layer after layer.

Dulcet joins the gang with two tracks. First up is his "Interlude" that leans towards more techy territories but with the right amount of pads and synth action.

"What You Know" sees Dulcet going deeper into progressive waters as the chord progressions as gentle guitar riffs drop in and out of the mix along with airy pads.

Faizal Rego goes all smooth with his "Luna" track. Full of gentle notes and piano chords that play along a clean but punchy groove make this one a late night favourite.

Laurent Chanal closes the round with "Deepest". He fuses perfectly a potent acidic bass line and crisp beats together with warm sirens synth that keep the tension building all the way to the end. Thi

New Zeland's finest outfit Fiord aka brothers Hayden and Barton Storm are on board with their new single 'Shadow of you'!

The original is a mixture of shuffled dirty grooves, a deeper bass line and sinister synth lines filled to perfection with suave female vocal samples. Despite it's darker vibe, there is still lots of funk to this peak time groover!

The guys also deliver a more hypnotic and triply remix under their Triangle moniker. A bit more proggy then the original, this one is a typical Triangle track:
Based around a hypnotic synth riff backed by a pulsating bass line and a strong but dirty groove. Test this one out at your late night sets and madness is guaranteed! 

Label heads Alex & Filip return to the home label after over a year with this remix. Taking things a bit out of the shadows here, their remix is a peak time techno groover. Based around a potent bass line and a strong groove with rolling percussion and lots of spacey effects and a cleaver use of the vocal samples this one should rock your floor!

Mirabilis Records is proud to have on board some Sweedsh's finest this time!
It is Inkfish and Glanata who deliver two stunning tracks backed with a remix each in their 'Mother / Father EP'!

'Mother' is very warm tech house track with crispy beats, rolling percussion and some acid that gives the track some extra power. All of those things are perfectly matched to a synth riff that gets in straight into your head and keeps rolling over and over again. Another slice of fine beats from the swedish maestros!

Label bosses Alex & Filip are taking 'Mother' into a slightly darker and more sinister corners. They opt for a stronger and heavier baseline and tufter beats. The main riff is still there but with added tons of effects that make it even more hypnotic and mind-blowing. Definitely one for the techno heads and those who like it a bit ruff!

'Father' has a funkier and slightly progressive edge as the main chord riff and synth lines keep building while the groove keeps getting stronger through the track and various synth and drum fills add some extra crisp and energy. A safe bet in your sets!

Ben Coda's remix of 'Father' is another fine example of his unique fusion of progressive and techno. Ben makes a clever use of the original parts which are used on top of a clean, strong groove. As if this wasn't enough he adds a heavily infectious bass line and some hell raising effects. Madness.

Once again Inkfish, this time with Glanta together prove to be on top of their game. And there is no doubt, they will be there for the long time coming!

In its more compact Original Mix, the track is revealed to have started life as a bottom heavy breaks infused beast, which unleashes an utterly mesmerizing energetic flow. As always, Quivvers precise programming and trademark attention to the finest detail, remains firmly on display.

The closing Radio Edit offers an even more superbly concise ball of inspired breaks innovation.
