The Adventures of Positive Penni is a self-published book written by Miranda Sullivan and Illustrated by Erica Swenson. “Trust What You Know” is the first book of a series to teach children, in a fun environment about self-care through positive living!

The books do have a spiritual taste to them, and not enough to teach what religion someone should be. Positive Penni embraces a spiritual path only with the uses of prayer, forgiveness, etc.

“Trust What You Know” is the title track for a book that is written around social interaction and self esteem. Other songs include: “The Positive Penni Theme Song," "I Can Do It on my own,” and Keep on Believing In Me."

The author, Miranda Sullivan said that The Adventures of Positive Penni was inspired by a little girl she nanny’d for several years ago. It’s something that speaks to Miranda’s heart because of her own journey and interaction with families. All the songs are positive songs that kids can sing to feel good about themselves and affirmations in a song or lessons to increase self esteem and good choices etc.
