Germany’s house icons Milk & Sugar release remix by in demand hit maker, Purple Disco Machine.

Following the recent Brokenears Remix of ‘House Dimension’, the iconic German House duo Milk & Sugar are back with a highly anticipated remix of their anthemic Ibiza classic ‘Let The Sun Shine’ by none other than dance music’s hit maker, Purple Disco Machine – out 23rd April via their very own Milk & Sugar Recordings.

When Milk & Sugar’s ‘Let The Sun Shine’ was released in 2003 it garnered great international success throughout clubland and beyond and went on to become the duo’s biggest hit to date. Fast-forward to the present and now dance music’s sought-after hit maker Purple Disco Machine has added his own unique flavour to the classic dance hit, utilising the original’s key elements and adding his magic trademark groove and a TB-303 acidline to make a truly huge house record that’s readymade for the forthcoming summer months.

A-side, a dark disco track bewitched by some disturbing howler monkeys, where the voice is sometimes cavernous and prophetic, sometimes blown into an almost ritualistic melody. As a B-side, a house version of the track made for those who feel inspired to dance one last time to this "jungle sound of death"

PREMIERE : Disco Bagarre - The Jungle Sound Of Death

I've been delving back into music for a few months now. Initially to finish a new collection of tracks for my HiFi Deluxe pseudonym, but new tracks keep popping up... This retro 70s/funky (NU) disco track suddenly appeared. It's still in the works, but I'm posting it here on SoundCloud so I can listen to it anywhere (even on the go).

Another highlight and an album exclusive, ‘Big Love’ from Peter Heller’s Big Love is brim full of Dr Packer’s unmistakeable warmth, cowbell accents giving the groove some bump. Next is Dr Packer’s remix of The Shapeshifter’s evergreen ‘Lola’s Theme Recut’ followed by another album exclusive, Candi Staton’s ‘Hallelujah Anyway’. Ron Hall & The Muthafunkaz featuring Marc Evans ‘The Way You Love Me’ (Dr Packer Extended Remix) is the third new cut, followed by another new remix for this album, Dr Packer’s version of Johnny Corporate’s ‘Sunday Shoutin’’, picking up the pace with a funking bassline to suit any dynamic disco set. More highlights include Dr Packer’s versions of ‘When Love Breaks Down’ by The Shapeshifters featuring Teni Tinks and ‘Set It Out’ from Purple Disco Machine & Boris Dlugosch, both brand new remixes. Mirco Berti was born on 26th August 1982 in Desenzano del Garda. When he was 14, his older brother gave him a present that changed his life: a record player. From now on a deep love and passion of music began and developed.
In the 1990s after entering and winnig a famousmusical competition for dj announced by a national radio, he met one of the most important dj in northern Italy, who helped him to get under way in this world and took him to the most important places in the area.
So Mirco became one of the younger resident dj for a famouse place in Verona, the Queen. He grow up in the house music set until the age of twenty-one, when another experience changed his life: his first flight to New York, since he knew here a wider musical scene and met world-famous dj.
He was fascinated and rapt by this journey, so that it is an obbligatory step for his musical knowledge. He worked for many places in the North of Italy, gainig experience and being successful until he approached the world of production at the age of twenty-two. In 2004 he met and started to work together , but after all to be close friends with Alex Elle, dj and producer recently dead.
Several plans were carrier out and they made him enter the record Company Mazoom Lab and become the pillar of the finest and most fashionable summer night-club in the north of Italy : the Coco Beach.
Mirco's productions and dj set are representative of a great many-sidedness and extraordinary style, matching passion, energy with dreams and emotions.
