Following recent smash Rave Me on Toolroom, house and techno duo PAX return to Solardo’s Sola’s label for new single Voodoo Girl with underground talent Wade also serving up a hefty remix of the original. 

Voodoo Girl marks the PAX’s well overdue second release on Sola, following on from The Power EP in 2017. Boasting eerie voodoo vocals and a grooving drum line, PAX intertwine the realms of house and techno effortlessly. Meanwhile Wade’s remix spirals into a cascade of weighty sub breakdowns amongst warping bleeps set to destruct dancefloors globally. 

Since exploding on the scene back in 2015, Aaron and Charles better known as PAX have risen with originals on the likes of Elrow, Sola, Toolroom, Kaluki, Lost, Roush, WOW and more. One could describe Mirco Caruso’s previous career with just three words: “haste makes waste”.  The club-musician with Italian roots’ approach to music is never contrived - nor does he care for exclusive hype or shallow bandwagoning. Mirco Caruso’s career is embossed by a gravitas that has consistently and continuously led him to the music that reflects his passion the most.
The steep rise that started with his first tech house release in 2014 - and was followed by broad international support and gigs around the world - suddenly came to a halt in 2020 when Covid hit.
Yet, against all odds, this marks the beginning of Caruso’s musical and artistic transition. After struggling with finding new inspiration and creativity amidst a world turned upside down, passion finally was reignited after visiting a concert that would inspire a profound change. A change that has ultimately resulted in his newly formed moniker «MICA» that represents an equally newly formed, inherently melodic and dreamy signature sound. One thing, though, remains unchanged: MICA’s impeccable flair for deeply touching productions and his incredible skill set in the studio. Surely, it won’t be long, until his music yet again finds its way back into the rotations of the biggest names in the industry.
