Figure incontournable de la scène réunionnaise, Karl Hungus impose depuis 15 ans un style vibrant, façonné par le Rare Groove, la Soul, le Hip-Hop, le Funk, le Disco, le Reggae, le Rhythm & Blues et les musiques créoles. DJ résident du Sakifo Musik Festival et membre des « Pura Vida DJ’s » de GUTS, il s’est également illustré à Barcelone en tant qu’ancien résident du Marula Café. 
Au fil de sa carrière, il a assuré les premières parties d’artistes majeurs comme De La Soul, Fred Wesley, Wax Tailor ou Chinese Man, et partagé les platines avec des références telles que Guts, DJ Format, Mr Thing, Jazzman Gerald, Florian Keller, Voodoofunk ou Mad Mats. Son univers, puissant et affûté, témoigne d’un amour profond pour les pépites musicales et les grooves intemporels.

A cornerstone of Réunion Island’s music scene, Karl Hungus has spent the past 15 years shaping a vibrant style rooted in Rare Groove, Soul, Hip-Hop, Funk, Disco, Reggae, Rhythm & Blues and Creole music. Resident DJ of the Sakifo Musik Festival and member of GUTS’ “Pura Vida DJ’s”, he also made his mark in Barcelona as a former resident of the Marula Café.
