In the 115th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are very pleased to host David Reina

David Reina, Born in Cordoba, South of Spain. His musical career began in the mid 90´s after having involved in Hip Hop for a few years. In 1997 he began involved in Electronic music and more specially in Techno, Feeling attracted for the Underground Scene.

After a Decade playing around Spain and Twice in the United States, and having shared stage with international artist in numerous venues and events he decided to study music production and sound technician. Releasing His music on labels such as: Subsist, Main Concept, Rhod, Gynoid Audio, Inductriall, Dark Forest, Methodical... Just to name a few.

In 2018, He started his own Record Label called Legend 1997 Records, focused on sci-fi, Minimalistic Techno, and Cinematic Soundscapes, With Thirteen releases so far.

Since @non-reversible's discography has grown with standout releases on renowned labels like Soma, ARTS, Children of Tomorrow, and others, establishing himself as a rising techno music producer in the industry. In 2019, he embarked on a new venture by launching his own imprint, Non Reversible Structures, aiming to propel his vision and signature sound to new heights.

When it comes to his sets, Non Reversible crafts an experience characterized by a constant deep and driving mood, infused with an organic texture. His music effortlessly fluctuates between hypnotic grooves, evoking and mind-blowing emotions, and incorporates hard-hitting percussions rhythms. SPOKEN102 - Stroef

For the next edition of the mix series, we have the Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Stroef. In 2002, he bought his first two decks, and since 2005 he has been mixing with three turntables ever since. His mixing style can be described as fast and progressive.

His primary influences are Jeff Mills' legendary Tokyo Liquidroom 1995 set and Surgeon's Force + Form album. Later on, harder techno sets like High Heel Techno by Dylan Drazen, but also his more deep house-oriented sets like Carry On and Caught in the Act, showed him he wanted to play different kinds of techno, from Detroit to dub techno and electro.

Through his label Boomstraat 1818, he pushes meticulously crafted and Detroit-schooled productions from himself and his friends. A label that is worth a proper dig to find stripped-back tools and hypnotising floaters.

His mix is an energetic journey, switching up intensity using three turntables and Traktor, with classic records and some unreleased material.

SPOKEN102 - Stroef

Daniele Serraino, also known as D/n, is an Italian DJ and producer based in Berlin. He started his journey in electronic music in 2010, gaining recognition in the Acid Techno/Acid core scene with 303 styles with his previous project Dane, with which he played in various European clubs and raves and released music on various labels, including his own Ausgang Records.

Daniele's focus shifted to Techno in 2018 with his recent project D/n, characterized by dark hypnotic atmospheres, dub and broken beat. Lover of analog in his productions and vinyl in his sets, he is able to involve in introspective journeys. In 2020 he founded the label and podcast series Spazio Magnetico, which explores genres ranging from dark-hypnotic Techno to Raw, crossing dub, IDM and dark ambient styles. D/n's tracks have received support from renowned artists and his vinyl-driven DJ sets range from experimental techno to dark and raw techno.

He has graced the stages of Berlin's most important venues, such as Tresor, Zur Klappe and Ava Club.
