Moin! The northern light brings us the next release by Hamburg-based duo Surreal & Erhardt Schuster. Both are super-nerdy into electronic underground music as well as deeply grounded in the local club scene. Since the clubs are closed, there’s plenty of studio time which results here in the „Multicano EP“. The super-solid constellation contains two extraordinary originals and two remixes by some well-known faces of the label: our favorite lazerslut Miro Pajic and CVO, which is is the new alias for more subtle grooves by Casimir von Oettingen!

The title track by the duo is a batshit crazy minimal rocker which steps out of the line and is anything else than usual. Bless! On a reduced beat structure, the fine oddity in shape of gnarly sounds and blurbs, takes its course straight to the face of still-awake-sunday-troopers. Welcome to the freak show! Of course Miro was the perfect match to treat these sounds for a remix and as usual, he rinse off all the left-over details of this tune. He put a motherfuckin’ proper bass below and takes care of the snaggy sound to be in pole position. Hell yes!

Another time, the Hamburgers are showing us how the „Riptide“ really works. Like a comfy-warm fantasy bubble, it catches up those subliminal moments in higher consciousness of melting together with a groove. Excellent basses, stabs and dirty sweetness united! Even here the remixer on point was easily found: CVO aka Casimir von Oettingen walks on his soft spot for wild and wicked minimalistic dance music! With a super-clean sounding rework, it has a degree more on the punchy side, so we only wait the clubs to re-open!

Creepy Dude Terry Whyte releases his EP titled "The NeverEnding Storky" on Creepy Finger Records. Shoulder swinging low end, fuelled with synth-style vocal FX and percussion fills complete the track.

Andy Martin delivers a fantastic remix in his usual signature sound, with bass heavy grooves and re-worked lead synth. The next strong release knocks already the door and can’t wait to be played. We are more than happy to have HASSIO and partner-in-crime SAMMY MORRIS  from Colombia on board for AUM024! Not surprising that they are currently in the spotlight on many labels like Great Stuff Rec., Witty Tunes, Brise or DPE, as both are coming from the southamerican techno capital Medellin. Sprouted in an artistical environment of a vibrant and restless club scene, a floor-oriented groove is ever-present in their music. The „Deeple Woh EP“ comes with 3 massive originals and for rounding-off a wicked deep remix Berlin based Spanish artist PEPE MATEOS!

There’s (at least) one thing we all have in common: we love bassline, percussions and definitely groove. ‚Deeple Woh’ has exactly the right dose, plus a gentle deepness, shifting cuts and funky weirdo sounds. What else do you need?! Turning into ‚Broadway Street, we recognise that it feels best on dancing feet. A little craziness plus well-placed outruns of the drivin’ beat and your body moves automatically. Both solo works by Hassio. Third original is a collaboration together with Sammy Morris and they kill it with chopped-up rhythms melting on an energized contemporary groove. Ready for the rave.

After a bunch of highly sensitive and subtle groovin’ releases with enormously warmth and friendly deepness on labels like Time Has Changed, Low Groove, Play Groove, Golden Gate and many more, we requested Pepe Mateos to do a remix. And he delivered! ‚Broadway Street’ was his fav and he stripped it down to extremly delicious shakin’ percussions, and flutes the snake out with hilarious synth sounds. Now, let’s go to the dancefloor...
