A track inspired by a short story set in the halo universe, by the same name. The story depicts an ordinary soldier stationed on a spacestation with its companion AI. It's a normal day, the soldier claims he's observed some alien life in the distance, but his AI companion dismisses these claims as the sensors do not pick up anything. One day, a high ranking general appears on the station with many soldiers, equipped for battle. The flood is on their trail and they have been sent to defend this station at all cost.  The flood arrive and all hell break loose. The station's crew is evacuated and all is lost, in a last stand against overhwelming odds, the soldier decides to steer the spacestation into the eye of the storm which rages on the planet below. Expecting to die, the soldier is perplexed when he wakes up alone on the station. He will live out the rest of his days here alone with only his AI companion for company, on the other hand, the alien lifeforms turns out to be real and they might have stories to tell.

Defender of the Storm

Oke this track... is one of the first I've made in FL (or at least the basic beat), and then it stayed on the shelve for 3 years or so xD. But better late then never! Yet another summer style song going on! (And I still stick to the 1 song per month yey! progression!)

Only trouble I had currently.... Is me writing quite a happy summer song bc it was still on the shelve and I enjoyed making it.... but my head is also somewhere else.... With everything going on in the world. Maybe I'm going to use those thoughts for the next project. In the mean time, let's stay nice to each other. Accept each other for who they are. Protect your loved ones, protect democracy. And if your in a country that's been plagued by war (Ukraine, Palestine) please stay safe. I hope one day everything will be alright again.

I began writing the harmony and the main guitar riffs of this song right on Blackout Tuesday. Watching antiracism protests around the world, really got me inspired. Hence the title of the song.

No Racists Allowed To Enjoy

A therapeutic journey into a mix of jazz, classical, and a blend of types of electronica.  And a wry, gradual observation that promotion tends to only go as far as you push it.  At least I make my fellow musicians laugh a little.
